Shame Cora isn't around as he would have put a huge score in for vocals and the missing Rush score

I think all of it counts now even if you don't get promoted. Not really sure how it works with no demotions now, we will find out in a few days!

Should be a bit easier next week when the top top teams move up and leave us with easier pickings

Apologies, uni is a bit mental atm. Will be back ASAP.

This week might not be good for us if the DLC is any indication of the challenge. Disturbed (Down With the Sickness - So... another Rock Band Rewind track?) and Ghost. Metal challenge incoming? :dread:

Frank played a blinder this week! I got out of the cinema last night and you'd bought the Rush song and scored on all instruments and then played pretty much what the rest of us had played all week, added together

Please don't leave us to start a solo career :shifty:

Metal challenge? Ugh I hope not. We just did one of those three weeks ago.

Shall we sit out this week? Let the top teams go up and then we can try a promotion after that.

There's only two leagues above the one we are in now and we have only ever reached the one above this a single time

But then if there's no demotion, we only need to reach it once...

Metal challenge you say?

hello there! ;)

I'll get the ghost track - one of the few out of the VR game I was properly excited for.

Also lots of speculation on the forums of Guns N Roses DLC. Not to get anyone's hopes up...

I've got plenty of metal in my library. Plenty of Limp Bizkit.

True. Although I am wondering if promotion will get harder as each week goes on. Maybe it'll get easier.

Nice! Although I am only interested if it's songs from Appetite for Destruction.

We might finally get the first ever song that was debuted with the Rock Band prototype trailer 10 years ago this month

Buff is carrying the team this week :datass:

Luckily when it comes to music you're not right often ;) but you were right here

Not so bad, I have two of those three at least but I don't think I'll be picking up Ghost.

The Worshipper track is actually one of my fav songs in the Rivals free batch. I even important the album it's from on red vinyl from Boston :datass:

They're very much like Royal Blood if anyone likes that band.

This Weeks DLC: DISTURBED AND GHOST, JULY DLC DETAILED!
We’re opening July with a pair of heavy hitters, as a Rewind track from Disturbed comes to the Music Store alongside a Ghost song, new to Rock Band 4.

“Down With The Sickness”, the immensely popular Disturbed track from Rock Band 2 (and featured on Rock Band VR), is now releasing as Music Store DLC. Breaking into the Top 5 of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, it went on to become the band’s first platinum single. Along with other hit singles “The Game”, “Stupify”, and “Voices”, “Down With The Sickness” helped make The Sickness a 4x platinum album to date. The tom intro is a highlight of the drums, throwing in enough bass pedal to spin the beat into a pattern not found elsewhere. The main guitar riff is a chord pattern centered on the yellow button, creating a fluid progression when learned.

“Cirice” also releases this week after being part of the core Rock Band VR soundtrack. The lead single off of Meliora, Ghost’s third album, “Cirice” has been the spearhead of the band’s climbing popularity in the United States. Playing the song as part of their first US television appearance, it quickly reached #4 on the Mainstream Rock chart. “Cirice” went on to win the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. A slower metal song, the guitar solo speeds it up, providing some quick bursts of notes to practice. The harmonies are very interesting, allowing for an experience metal songs aren’t normally known for.

Songs can be purchased individually for $1.99 each.

  • Disturbed – "Down With The Sickness" (RB2 Export)
  • Ghost – "Cirice"

The full list of content coming to Rock Band in July features chart-topping hits, a Rock Band Rewind track and even more surprises to be announced:
  • The Black Keys – “Gold On The Ceiling”
  • Disturbed – “Down With The Sickness”
  • Ghost – “Cirice”
  • Wilson Phillips – “Hold On”
  • … and more!

Finally The Black Keys track is coming out :datass: and I'll probably grab Wilson Phillips too

Can't have that going down as our score for Disturbed this week - we can add over 100k to it. Downloaded the other song as it sounded pretty good so will try and get good scores on them as well and I have a lot of the metal DLC so will pump in some XP this afternoon.

I don't have many songs available that count this week. I'll not be much help with the spotlights but I'll try add as much XP as I can over the next few days.

That Worshipper song I can redo on bass and increase the score. I made some mistakes through because my controller was low battery, it's easy all the way through but the end of that song is millions of HOPOs :x so I'll not be able to goldstar it

We are in the top 175 teams now so it's going to get hard

Managed to get reasonable scores for two of the vocal ones and shove a few thousand XP on. The third one BID0 actually has a top, top score on so I don't need to bother unless we need to grind a few points on Tuesday.

Cora never messes around and always has scores above the top 1%

It's quite disheartening seeing us so far at the bottom still  but a few more spotlight scores should see us jump to the top... hopefully

If anyone can put drum scores in for the 3 songs that would be great. Especially drums for Ghost. I can put very average scores down for the other two if no one else plays them.

better than what my attempt would be though  I'll try and beat you after you do them, then you'll at least get the XP bonus for first play and I can pretend that I didn't have time for drums this week when I fail to beat any of your scores
