Might get the Natasha Bedingfield track :shifty:

Went on earlier and it was showing the the season 5 rewards in the little news feed in the top right. Trousers this time. What are they going to do when they're out of clothing categories?

EDIT: I..... actually like both songs this week. This is unheard of.

Pistol Whipped 8-) Did the Vagiant song(s?) come over to Rock Band 4 or not? I don't remember having played it recently...

Also good start for the spotlight pass! :o Do I buy it or wait for more songs to be announced?

It looks like the spotlight pass has gone back to the 8 weekly songs (and cheaper) compared to the 10 songs (including the 2 break weeks) of the previous season. I might grab the pass again myself as I skipped it last time and couldn't do the spotlight tracks as I was waiting on the songs to be announced each week :fp:

As for Vagiant - Seven... it's still not back for people who previously owned it. Although it is part of the big indie pack they used as a pre-order bonus (featuring a lot of the bonus tracks from RB1 and RB2 which we have started to get back for free recently), we are just waiting on Microsoft and Sony to finish the entitlements for all of the songs in this pre-order/promotional pack so hopefully soon for this song.

Also worth noting that the band name has changed and it's actually been updated in Rock Band 4 so it will sort under the band "Tijuana Sweetheart" with the Pistol Whipped track
rather than under the band "Vagiant", so if you bought (as DLC) or got the pre-order pack (with the band bundles) then it could well be in your song list there without realising it.

It's on the 30 song track pack, which I actually got last week and played through. I didn't realise Vagiant and Tijuana Sweetheart were the same people until then.

There are a number of Tijuana Sweetheart tunes from pre-RB4 on there too, so maybe they are the Vagiant ones you're thinking of?

For anyone who plays on 360 still:

We have an important Rock Band Network update to share.

Unfortunately, ALL RBN songs on ALL legacy consoles (Xbox 360, PlayStation®3, and Nintendo Wii) will no longer be available for purchase from the Rock Band Music Store beginning later this month. As with other delisted content, owners on every platform can continue to play previously purchased and downloaded RBN songs as desired.

However, due to technical reasons, Xbox 360 owners will not be able to redownload these songs if they are somehow removed from your storage device. We apologize for this inconvenience, but do note that the Xbox 360 supports flash drives and external hard drives if you would like to back up your content. PlayStation®3 owners will continue to have the ability to redownload as needed.

These songs were never available for purchase or playable in Rock Band 4. All songs available on Rock Band 4 are not affected, regardless of source.

http://forums.harmonixmusic.com/discuss ... nt_5403303

Bit gooseberry fool on Microsoft's part not to be able to continue hosting content for people who have paid them to do so.

16th in the world for Spotlight Scores, and we still haven't put a score in for Pistol Whipped on the guitar. Insane. Will this be the time we're 1st try bloodstone?

I'll never beat some of that Kronic guy's scores, though :slol: It was bad enough having Cushy above me in the leaderboards, then he turns up and 100%'s everything!

There’s a lot of points we can still get from Cyndi Lauper too - reckon we could make a push for top three this week if someone could put those last two scores down!

But yeah, we’re a really competitive crew right now. But we’ve worked pretty hard to build our rep and recruit good spotlight players so I think it’s well deserved. :D

Well you're better at guitar than me so I'll let you take the bass and guitar spotlight scores  that's assuming kinectkid doesn't play for any given week as they seem to hit the 97%-100% score range constantly :datass:

So much for all of us being burnt out and nobody bothering this season then ;)

To be fair, it wasn't me who said that originally, I only agreed with it. :slol:

But yeah, I got a second wind in my enthusiasm for rivals when we got into Bloodstone last season with relative ease. Reckon we could be in the top 100 this time round.

I'm sure I was playing something the other day where you were in front of me on the bass by about 20,000 points! Can't remember what song it was, though.

Cushy still hasn't topped my score on Shadow on the drums, so I'm counting that as a victory.

Just wait for the challenge week of songs that are all chosen by Harmonix's new QA temp, then we'll all stop bothering :shifty:

Total - 227/429 - 53% match rate.

Some random thoughts:

- I started notating the songs which 1) appear in Rock Band through different artists, 2) are live versions in Rock Band, and 3) appear on disc or are no longer available, but didn't have the time to finish this.

- The percentage match up with Rock Band seems to be almost directly proportional to how good the Guitar Hero soundtrack is. For example GH: Live scores the lowest match with 38%, and was critically panned.

- Quantity does not equal quality in Guitar Hero. There are some woeful choices on 4, 5 and 6.

- With that said, there are still a few dozen tracks I'd desperately like to see come across to Rock Band. Any of the Tool/APC stuff, for example. And Beat It. And the rest of the GHII and GHIII soundtracks etc etc.
