Re: those competitive walkers. There was a guy doing the Great South Run today who's 5k PB is 19 minutes. That's disgusting. Walking. Ugh..
Great South went really well. Ran with a friend and we did the 10 miles in 1:26:04. Happy enough with that. I had a hamstrings scare earlier in the week playing squash and something tweaked in my right groin during the GSR so I feel like my body is telling me to have a bit of a rest at the moment... But yeah. Happy with 5:16kms over a 16.1km run. I ran a 10k PB of 50:56 the other week. Getting there slowly

I think I've got a bit of a break from competitive running for now... I've got Bath and Reading Half marathons in March and Brighton Marathon in April and Cotswolds 24 hour relay in July (?) but need to get something in the diary before then really or I'll lose motivation.
Did anyone else do the GSR? How's training chaps?
