Very well done DR. I personally wouldn't have had anonymous accounts as an idea. Although I had my doubts on Days One and Two (I found it all a bit confusing and overwhelming) the characters in the game started to grow and make it thoroughly deep and interesting. In that regard the experiment was very much a success.

However, the same old tactics came out again - the seer/Mayor rotation, and the next time I run this game, that will be dying for GOOD. GR needs to learn to play the game without its safety net, and oh it will.

Excellent game DR, been great food for thought, and I think you've run it smashingly.

The seer/mayor thing didn't happen though. Zeni was only mayor right at the end. :shifty:

Zenigame has got to go down in AYA? history as the best seer. He was awesome for us when BLADEFORCE won a few games ago.

I would never have pegged you as Sonata. I doubt I would have trusted you if I had known it was you! The anonymous account system works!

Destiny put us together and it proved we are a perfect partnership. Nood be raging.

Ain't no seer/Mayor rotation this time. Wasn't wanting to go down that route either because i know it takes the fun out of it for others. Think I asked TAP if he thought we should go down that route but nothing really came from it lukily. Also I was paranoid that if we did do that there could be a twist one day where there'd be no mayor or something.

As a spectator, I do have to say that Reverse (Jenko) was easily one of the worst Citizens I've ever seen. If I was playing I'd probably have been camaigning to get rid of him after the antics of day 2. :fp:

Awesome stuff, very interesting to see who certain people were. Aside from Deadpool I correctly identified Parksey as Zenith, but that's about it. It was a bit annoying to identify The Saboteur and then not have the glory to personally take him down myself, but I shouldn't complain. At that point I was rather hopeful of surviving a game but I guess the unwanted attention I heaped on Zellery (Vicious) sealed my fate. Props to DP for taking my theory/evidence forward though and I'm amazed he had any trust in me whatsoever considering the things I've done to him in past during these games. Other than myself, Parksey and DP, I thought Satriales (Sentry), Dan (Sunweb), Elbo (Sonata) and Tiarny (Whirlpool) all played a very good game.

Huge thanks to DR for running it.

I haven't been in many but the two I have been have both been Citizen victories.

Yeah, AYAW II & V both saw Werewolf victories, both landslides too.

I was a bit annoyed at being killed on the same night.

Although I suspect the Sab realised I was a vigilante when I made a slightly incriminating post which I subsequently deleted.

I came close to shooting Reverse though.

So, who's doing Are You A Cylon? In the future? Someone better!

Really enjoyed this game. Wss more involved than other games I've been in. By involved I don't mean posted more. As I probably posted more in my last game played which was the one in my sig.

I've only just caught up on the thread  Haven't been online since I made my last post and the one that immediately follows it is:

Sonata wrote:No need to keep this hidden anymore. I'm the Detective that I said I was in contact with. The guy that found Researcher and told Whirlpool of.

I guessed this 8-) I PM'd Sonata to tell him to get Whirlpool to protect him in case the remaining accomplice might also guess

I was also certain I was going to be lynched the night Natwest died - so much so I even composed an elaborate death post which I'll now never get to use, so may as well post:

This was no triumph
I'm making a note here: I am dead
It's hard to overstate my lack of action

To Dark Ritual:
Thanks for letting me play your game
I'm just sad I couldn't see
It all the way to the end

But there's no point crying just because I am dead
So I'll make an elaborate death post instead!
Even though I am gone, I'll be here to cheer on
All the people who are still alive

I'm not even angry
I'm being so sincere right now
Now I'll have more time to do my crosswords
And stop getting mixed up
With Trepanation and Cranial
Just because their pictures are
Almost exactly the same

Now the posts I've made I'm sad to leave me behind
But I hope there's data in there that you can mine
And so long as both seers
Stay well back and in the clear
Then the people will be still alive

Go on and leave me
I think I'd prefer to be offline
Maybe you'll find someone else to help you
Maybe Researcher
That was a joke, ha ha, the bitch
Anyway, it's great to know
I'll have my leisure time back

Look at me still posting with this knife in my side
I just hope my killers can't find places to hide
Vigilantes are dumb
Cos they're buried with their guns
I just hope that you all stay alive

And while I'm dying you'll be still alive
And now I'm dead and you're all still alive
But it's fantastic that you're still alive
Except the sab who I hope slowly dies
And those twats who stood there by his side
I'd be quite happy if they were to die
But citizens should remain alive

Still alive

Still alive

 I feel that I owe Satriales an apology, for throwing suspicion on him all game - you played a great game dude. Also a big sorry to Clarkman for scrutinizing his every post and also throwing suspicion on him too.

Although I survived until the very end, I wasn't actually very good this time around  I never suspected the right people at all. Compared to the last AYAV? in which I thought I played OK, this time I was just really, really lucky.

Well played though other citizens  And thanks DR for running the game  (initially I kept getting confused when I saw people targeting 'DR' for questions as DR are my initials :fp: )

So what happens to our alt accounts now?

Oh, and this thread needs to be archived IMO.

I didn't think you were a vigilante, but you made a post that said something like you originally had 3 strong suspicions, two of which had been refuted, and so just in case I was the third one I told Vicious to kill you soon.

This is malignant for diapered cartoon girls crutches as well

Has The Alpha/Dracula ever had one time use powers before that have a chance to completely fail? :fp:

I found that slightly dampened the game for me. What's the point in having a special role who has two powers to use once but with the chance of them not even working, thus diluting your special role?

It's all right, I started it when I ran for mayor and tried to put you up for the lynch.

I just wanted to put out two names that I wasn't sure about as everyone else had focused on Koilos. But the Koilos hate was too strong and in hindsight it was better to get rid of him than either of my two candidates.

Good game.

I don't think they have had any. I think the whole undetecable evil player is their main 'power'.

Yeah, the 'powers' thing was an experiment. I felt the chance for failure needed to be there to balance out the power, as it's an extremely powerful one.

What was the punishment that we were going to receive after Reverse kept posting from the grave?

You were due to get one of the vaunted Mayoral Powers (which never actually came in) and that never happened. Also I started removing one inactive a night until there were none left. It was a tricky one because it was a rule break, but it was hard to make a balanced punishment.

I just remembered about this:

Sentry wrote:
Descent wrote:

Villager/Citizen/Innocents role.

OK. I was beginning to form a suspicion on someone but that completely ruins it, and so it's not worth mentioning. :shifty:

:fp:
I can't remember exactly who I suspected now, but I was thrown off the scent before I looked into it fully.
