You should look in to it more Hime

Do you use Protein supplements? I've had to cut those out of my diet since cutting out meat/diary completely because I was consuming too much protein.

Look into a plant based diet or the CO2 produced from meat consumption?

I use whey protein if that's what you mean? If you don't mind me asking do you track macro's? I can't see how you could eat the amount of protein I do while keeping your carbs and fats relatively low on a plant based diet.

Plant based. You get your protein and cut out the bad fats from meat/diary. Whey is generally cows milk yeh, I guess you can probably get it from goats etc too? There are plant alternatives but not sure what the proper name for them is.

I used to do macros but haven't over the last year, I only get about 2 hours a week to work out lately. I suffered from an eating disorder and macros helped me maintain a healthy weight and then it pushed me to bulk up and go further. I haven't had to do any of that since a diet change, hopefully I can keep that up.

But it is possible on plants for sure. It's a common misconception that meat = only way to get lots of protein. The animals for the meat get their protein from the plants they eat, so it's an inefficient way of getting protein. There are a lot of bodybuilders and UFC fighters and all of those kind of professions now where they are on a plant diet. I follow a few bodybuilders on Instagram and they are absolute monsters   The largest animals in the world maintain their size from eating plants.

Cultured algea/seaweed is one of the best opitons for a future food supply. It's more or less 50% protein, contains every trace element that human body needs and grows very quickly. There are scientists working on using algea and electrity, combined with basic minerals, produce synethetic food supplies that could in theory be completely indepedent from traditional agriculture. We could use it 'decouple' ourselves from dependency on traditional warming, which requires large stretches of land and intensive draining of resources from the surrounding environment. We have a global population that could bit about nine billion this century before it stabalises so this kind of research is very important if we are to feed everyone without devestating the few remaining wildernesses.

That's impossible, there's no such thing as a stealth vegan.

Sorry I should have indicated that was not meant as a serious post. It is the plot from Dan Brown’s “Inferno” :)

I like this calculator, I hit 93% and 41% of that was because I did one return flight to Amsterdam in the last year. Unsurprisingly flying is the biggest issue.
