Another good Lower Decks episode.

I liked that it was more focused on T'Lyn. That and the Betazoids being a red herring for the empathic stuff. Incidentally I did watch the DS9 episode where Lwaxana turns up and makes everyon super horny.

I also love Dr T'ana. Anytime she acts like a Cat are just my favourite moments.

I also "aww"ed just as they turned away from the Neutral Zone, literally a second before the Romulans did.
They love a good Neutral Zone violation.

I'm surprised but I liked Empathological Fallacies! The plot was decent and I even laughed a couple of times, especially at the Romulan disappointment when they didn't go into the neutral zone.

This weeks Lower Decks was another fun one.

Rom! Leeta! I didn't see Chase Masterton in the credits though and she didn't sound the same. Wonder why they couldn't get her.
But great to hear Max Grodenchik back. Was like he'd never been gone.
The Dominion War Memorial Wall for all the lost profits was absolute gold. That is EXACTLY what the Ferengi would do.
Then charge admission to it.

I do like that they seem to be exploring the relationships of the characters as well. It's always nice to see the status quo change over the course of a show.
I do think we're going to get a moment where Mariner realises that she fancies Ransom and she's going to hate it.

Last of the Very Short Treks

"I've got an orgy for you!" :slol:

As much as I've enjoyed this (Despite the mixed quality) I do find it a bit gooseberry fool that they're "Celebrating Star Trek animation" while treating Prodigy like a gangrenous limb.

Best thing about Lower Decks is the episode titles. Parth Ferengi's Heart Place is brilliant.

I hope I'm not warming to this show as that's two in a row that I thought were decent. It helped that Rom was in it, I love that little bastard.

It loses points for no Quark though.

Can Netflix get Strange New Worlds as well, so we don't have to bother with Paramount+* anymore?

*They can keep Lower Decks.

I just discovered that there's a Playmobil Enterprise

...they do a Bird of Prey as well, but I guess you knew that already.

They're a bit expensive.

The photo shows that they don't expect kids to be interested in it at all.

I had a Dinky Toys Enterprise when I was a lad and my brother got the Bird of Prey.

It fired photon torpedoes, which was just as well because it saw a lot of action in outer space and that.

I've seen the Playmobil Enterprise before, but not the Bird of Prey.

It does look great to be fair.

It's a very questionable value proposition to spend that sort of money on Lego. On Playmobil it's unfathomable!

For that money, I'd want it to be full size.
