I honestly think Brent Spiner had more fun doing the movies than the series, getting to let Data finally show some emotion and go nuts now and again.

Didn't he write a few of them, leading to cries of narcissism?

There were big discussions with the major players (Stewart, Frakes and Spiner) for each of the movies when it came to the individual storylines for their characters.

However, Spiner was more heavily involved in Nemesis. It was he who suggested to his friend John Logan (who wrote Gladiator) that he should write the movie, and they came up with the storyline together.

I know waaaaaaay too much about this stuff.

You may test that assumption at your convenience.

Fave episodes of Enterprise? Mine has to be Minefield, s2ep3. Not only does this episode introduce starfleet the Romulans for the very first time, but we also get to know Reid properly. We get past his serious exterior, getting to know the real man, including his weaknesses.
I can remember watching it for the first time (Monday nights, Sky 1, 8pm, you know it bitchs) and being quite amazed by the sight of pre-kirk Romulans for the first time.

Meh. They resorted to great battle scenes when viewing figures went down. The Xindi were dull, one dimensional, dominion-like unimaginative foes. Building up to species like the Romulans is ouch greater.

Speak for yourself. Personally I thought season 3 of Enterprise was one of the best seasons of any Star Trek series.

I thought the Xindi were actually quite interesting.

I'm not a fan. It began well, the mystery was great, and the fight with Klang was brilliant, old-style Star Trek. It became too long-winded and drawn out. There were a few good episodes in the season, and I can't deny the brilliance of the battlescenes, but overall it was just too much. Introducing Photon Torpedoes was too early, too.

The Xindi arc, whilst interesting, dragged on for far too long. As I said before, a good chunk of episodes dotted through the season were complete filler that could've slotted in easily outside of the Xindi arc as completely standalone episodes. The whole thing should've been wrapped up by halfway through the season really. (And without the filler it probably would've been about three quarters)

My favourite episode of Enterprise though? To be honest, probably Broken Bow. I thought it was a shame they didn't decide to stick with the Pulse weapons shown during the episode, instead going for the Phase weapons instead.

Jar Jar Binks > Neelix

I'm joking, of course.

Also really surprised no one has voted for 'These are the voyages....' yet.

It's so bad it transcends irony.

Because Riker having a midlife crisis on the Holodeck isn't a finale for Enterprise.

Terra Prime was good, we should consider that the finale. These are the voyages would make a decent episode, but not good for ending a show. Incidentally, The Pegasus was a superb episode.

No. TATV was a terrible piece of television - the cast/crew even pretty much revolted on set during the filming of it
