If Murray does get past Ferrer, I think he has a good shot of winning.

Djokovic was nothing special vs Nadal. Murray and Wawrinka would have destroyed Nadal today on current form. Djokovic certainly will get a tougher test facing those two than Nadal today.

It was sad to watch Nadal today. He mentally and physically just didn't look there at all.

I do disagree with this to an extent. The first set and a half was absolutely electrifying. After that, Djokovic simply did what he needed to do but he showed in the first hour or so that he was up for a huge performance if necessary. Some of the angles he was creating, especially cross court, were absolutely beautiful.

Murray's an absolute beast on clay these days. Can't believe the number of winners he hit in that match, flayed Ferrer at times.

I still think Novak will have a bit too much for him in the semi-final, but Andy will make him work a lot harder for the victory than Rafa did.

EDIT: Also he's sort of proved me wrong with my concerns from earlier in the year that he won't be able to reach the intensity of 2013. For the whole of 2014 and early this year he wasn't hitting through the ball as much as he used to. But the last month or so he's become a monster.

The first set was decent, but I seen much better from the two. Wawrinka and Murray would have beaten Nadal today. Djokovic didn't have to play his best game. Nadal physically and mentally wasn't there. Nadals whole career he's always fought to the end, but the last set he just gave up.

Djokovic has played better in previous years against Nadal and ended up losing at the French open.

I think if Nadal doesn't do well on clay next year then I can see him retiring. Murray is the only player, who can stop Djokovic winning the remaining three slams.

26% first serve from Wawrinka in this 2nd set, that is so bad

I do think the winner of the Murray/Djokovic semi is the most likely to win the tournament.[/boldprediction]

Mauled Wawrinka in the tiebreaker by the looks of it. This could be quite a match!

I really hope this goes to five sets so I can catch more of the Murray-Djokovic match after work. Might leave a bit early as well :shifty:

Wawrinka needs a better sponsor of the clothing kind. Those shorts are shocking!

Also hoping for this, also hoping for a Tsonga win of some kind. It'd be great to see a Frenchman in the final of Roland Garros for the first time decades. Plus he always seems like such a nice guy and he hasn't made the final of a Grand Slam since his maiden outing years ago.

I'm a huge fan of Tsonga, and would like to see him win a Slam before his career is over. It's a shame he's come through at the same time as the big four, because I daresay he would have been good for at least one slam in a lot of other eras.

Nervous for the Murray match. I hope he can break the mental hold that Novak currently has over him.
