I don't think there's much chance of him winning more slams than Federer.

I don't know, I think it's a real possibility. The men's game is weak at the moment - Federer and Nadal aren't what they used to be but have been winning because no one else has stepped up. If Djokovic is back to his best, it would only take a couple of strong seasons for him to be very close to Federer. He seems to have found his desire and form again so I can see it happening.

Federer won the majority of his slams against also-rans, before Nadal became an all court threat. Novak has had to win all of his whilst Nadal and Federer have been around. I know you can only beat who is put in front of you but still.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

If he does go on to match Federer's record, you'd have to level that same criticism at the latter part of Djokovic's career too.

Not that I think it's a valid criticism myself! :-)

It's not supposed to be a criticism or a detriment to Federer's record, just an observation.

Novak has unquestionably (along with Murray) had the absolute toughest of opponents to beat to get where he is.

Fair enough - I wrongly inferred criticism based on 'also-rans', my bad. There's no doubt Djokovic has had it tough, it's crazy to think that we've had the three greatest male players of all time in the same era. I liked what Djokovic said about Nadal and Federer:

"Maybe 10 years ago I would say I'm not so happy to be part of this era with Nadal and Federer. Actually today I am. I really am. The rivalries with these guys, the matches with Federer and Nadal, have shaped me into the player I am today. We have pushed each other to the limit every time we get to play each other."
