My gut feeling is that she's telling the truth about this. Such a shame to see her potentially bow out this way with a tarnished career.

I agree with this. WADA should also ask athletes read, sign and return confirmation that they have read the new lists before being able to compete. If anything it prevents sports getting a bad rep for drug cheating when something like this happens.

Funny thing about this Meldonium is that it's a primary a soviet drug that isn't used anywhere else. So she could easily have switched to a more modern version.

I now this topic is mostly tennis discussion, but do many people here play? I'm thinking of joining the local league as the park is a couple of minutes away and they have a new league starting in June. So gives me a bit of time to get some practice in as I haven't played much since school/the odd summer afternoon and need a racket etc...

Yep, I enjoyed tennis when I was a teenager but I think this is a big reason why I eventually stuck with squash rather than tennis.

I do enjoy Tennis, one of the important factors of when you are a novice/amateur though is playing someone who is of similar skill level. Thankfully a friend of mine is reasonably the same level as me, I would probably say I shade it but he has higher potential than me.
