Well, it was a fun road while it lasted.

Fair play to the guy - he won’t trouble the legacy of the big three but he is a three time major winner, two time Olympic gold medalist, Davis Cup champion and ATP Finals winner, and one of the best British tennis players to take up the sport. Winning majors and getting to finals on all surfaces in an era of some of the most dominant and skilled players of all time is an impressive feat.

I think he's without question the best British tennis player of all time and probably one of our best ever athletes.

Massive win for Kyle Edmund. Great performance. Scrolling through the live scores/results on BBC and the number of seeds who have been knocked out on the first day is amazing. Nadal bossing it though :datass:

Fed def. Dimitrov in the final

OR

Nadal def. Djokovic. I can't decide.

(so, Nadal v Dimitrov & Fed v Djokovic SFs, obviously)

Djokovic needs to regain his form before he starts thinking about semi finals.

Del Potro has a tricky tie vs Tiafoe but he can certainly cause a few problems. Hoping he can go on another good run.

Delpo always underperforms in Australia, I don't know why.

I see that, once again, all credible threats have fallen over themselves to allow Federer an easy path to the final.

Not sure why Berdych bothers playing tennis. He always gooseberry fools his pants against Fed. 4-1 up and then fails to see it out on his own serve :fp:

Now he has to go toe to toe. Time to suprise me!
