No offence to the ladies but at the moment I wouldn't spend £100 to watch any woman's match or final - the competition is too stilted and dominated by Serena Williams at the moment for it to be worth it. Maybe when she retires and a few more competitors come through it'll get more exciting.

Women's tennis is just so dull. I don't know how they can whinge about not getting the same 'big court' exposure as the men at Wimbledon when it's clearly an inferior product. Serena's not exactly likable either, which doesn't help, nor does the shrieking, the predictability, the 3 sets, or the lack of big names. It's pretty poor really, and it's crazy that they get the same prize money as the men.

Good Lord, the pre-match Federer gushing was too much. Sue Barker wasn't even trying to be objective.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Great mental Strength from Novak there. Bounced back from the break of serve held his nerve and serve when set point down and bossed that tie break.

This match isn't a classic by any means but right guy is winning. My contempt for the currently losing guy is unmeasurable.

I never watch tennis so I dunno the scoring rules. What's the deal with these set points? How comes it's 10-11 at the moment, how does that work?

Because Federer and Djokovic have broken tennis, that's why.

It's a tie break, as the games within the set were tied at 6-6.

So they have a tie break situation. First to 7 and with two points ahead clear wins. So 7-5 wins a tiebreak, but at 7-6 the leading player needs one more point.

They've both passed seven so one of them needs to edge two points ahead.

Ah I see, cheers Parksey. As I say, I pretty much never watch Tennis, this might be the first time in years, but it's been great so far.

The final set doesn't go to a tiebreak though. They would just keep playing games until someone gets a two game lead.

It was Mario Tennis on the N64 which actually got me into the game and taught me the rules.

If neither side is winning in a hour, a giant lizard and a monkey come on and play doubles with them.
