Federer going out sucks - the final is going to be a gooseberry fool show. Happy to see Djokovic back and Nadal playing well on grass again.

My biggest tennis wish is for Del Potro to win another GS. He's too talented to have only won one and if he hadn't been so unlucky with injury would probably have won five or six.

Oh wait, I forgot about the semi-final. Definitely good Federer went out so these two can go at it for five tie-breaks.

That was a great first set. :?

It doesn't have the effortless grace of Federer, but it's a spectacle of a different kind. Pretty sure they're both making their debuts in a Wimbledon semi-final too.

Looking forward to Nadal/Djokovic later

I’m hoping Novak wins. But I think Nadal will do the business. Not seen much of the tournament as I’ve been on nights. Hoping to catch the second semi and the final though.

12-12 in games.

Isner couldn’t take it to 70 games again....could he?

I don’t care who wins anymore. I just want it to be over.

I can't even appreciate the serving because the returning is rubbish. There are lots of aces because two giants are too tired to stretch for the ball. And other than that, there's almost no tennis to speak of. Isner is literally just putting the ball into the middle of the court in the rare ralies we do get.

Neither has sufficient stamina or quality to consistently put the other’s serve under pressure.

How many extra sets/matches has John Isner essentially played in his career from nonsense fifth sets?

You gotta feel for whoever loses... it has been such a titanic battle. To be honest, it does feel more like a battle than a tennis match.

Isner is a Trump lover. Isner must lose.

Maybe Novak and Nadal playing tomorrow for five sets is the only chance these guys have in the final. I was looking forward to watching a classic today. :(
