Sweet. Read the book a few years ago and heard they were making a show but completely forgot about it. Can't wait now.

Its probably my favourite book of all time, i am honestly ridiculously hyped, but also prepared for crushing disappointment given how bad TWD has gotten on AMC
Yeah I hope it's good.
One thing I'm confused by is all the talk of it being a complete story. Are they doing the whole book in one season? If so what will they do if it gets renewed?

I've got the book but never read it because I'm a lazy strawberry float. I don't know whether to bother ever, now.

10-11 hours doesn't seem enough time to build the overwhelming feeling of dread that the book manages to.

Love Dan Simmons stuff (the Hyperion Cantos especially) but have never read this. Now I'm conflicted whether to watch this or read the book first...

‘The Terror’: AMC To Launch Entire First Season For Premiere Customers
AMC is taking a page out of its successful launch strategy for McMafia for its new drama series The Terror. The network says it will make all ten episodes of The Terror available to its Premiere customers Monday night when it debuts on TV.

Started on the book. There's something about Simmons writing that makes me feel in love with his books like no others. So good.
