Yup, you can't go wrong with a bit of Bioshock, especially at that price!

Just been into town - Bioshock GONE! Has to be £20 for that now.

Or Ass Creed/Lost Planet (not Colonies) for £20

It's worth £8 definitely, the middle section of the game isn't great and it does get a bit repetitive (sp?) but as long as you enjoyed the demo it's worth picking up.

The middle section is the best bit of the game! The last third is pretty bad true, but it's more than worth 20 notes.

But the boss battle with all those bloody lasers and the dull parking lot fights were frustrating as hell.

I stopped playing Bioshock when you had to harvest Big Daddy parts and I just thought "strawberry float that,". I really need to go back to it.

I was fairly close to buying Ninja Gaiden II and Devil May Cry 4 recently after finding them both fairly cheap. What put me off was not really knowing what the difficulty was like in both games. I did play their demos, which I managed to play okay (apart from the boss in DMC4's demo).

My point is: for someone who struggled with both Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry 3, would both of the above mentioned games still be worth getting on the cheap?

Opinions/Impressions please!

Lost Planet is gash. It looks really lovely, but when it comes down to it, it's a really shite FPS.

Bioshock, as much as I've not got round to getting into it myself is a fantastic game. Brilliant story, amazing visuals and placed in an innovative setting.

Assassin's Creed is brilliant in a Crackdown kinda way for me. I done the first assassination and pretty much spent 8 or so hours getting chased around the game world. Climbimg buildings and diving off them is surprisingly a lot of fun.

In Game they are doing it £17.99 and pre owned £12.99 unless tha's where you was

Assasin's Creed looks amazing, you may even get a few hours out of it but at the end of the day there is nothing to do in it. You can't even make your own fun ala Crackdown

Personally, I would say choose one fantastic game over the 2 ok games. Lost Planet is better than ok, just don't go expecting the earth.

In game I can only find it for £30 quid new and not in pre-owned.

If it's £18 on the website can I get them to price match in store?

Not so sure but that seems a hell of a lot for game that has been out a long time. I would go and ask them if tha's the right price.

I used to work in Game so I know there are lazy strawberry floaters about

No only £30 quid new.

But chatting up the (cute, but old...sort of Yummy Daddy) Manager about it. He went and found a second hand copy from the mess of the shelves and gave it me for £14.99 (marked on box/system as £19.99) plus it's the metal tin.

Result 8-)

(This better be good F!)

I really enjoyed Stranglehold. Good fun action shoot 'em up; decent level design and not too bad a storyline either. For £8, it's a bargain.

I bought Dead Rising yesterday - worked out at £10. Barely played it yet, but so far so good.

Gaiden 2 is much much easier than the first, and is about a hundred times better than DMC4. Get it in. :D

Careful though, you're making that sound like it's easy.

Which it's not  (Well, it definitely wasn't for me!)

I quite enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to part two, it's a solid [7] for me, decent for a launch game.

I've recently bought Resistance and I'm loving it so far. Doesn't do anything new in terms of gameplay, but it's a good enough game.

The co-op is a right laugh, and the online is pretty damn good (Plus there's still plenty people playing it)
