Pretty amusing that Brand is encouraging people to vote Green only after the register to vote deadline has passed.

Who isn't registered though? I didn't even do anything and I got a card through the post saying I was registered.

I've registered twice in the last six months and I haven't received any confirmation whatsoever. If I get turned away from the polling booth I'm going to be livid.

Hmm, maybe it's because I have a job working for the council?

Yeah maybe, or it might depend on constituency whether you get a card through or not? I'm not too worried but I'm concerned I might flip at some poor voting booth granny if they tell me I'm not registered. :slol:

I got auto registered for my old address, but when I moved I re-registered and had confirmation within a week.

I checked 192 and it looks like I've made it onto the open register at this address, which would make it even more bizarre if I'm not on the roll proper. We'll have to wait and see I guess!

Check your credit report for free on Noddle, it will show if you're on the register.

You should have got a little A5 card a few weeks back showing you where your local polling station is, which you'd only get if you are registered.

Thanks for the tip! I'm also kinda interested to see my credit rating so I'll definitely give that a go tomorrow evening.

I also emailed the council about it. I don't want to be a drama queen (it's a Labour safe seat anyway...) but obviously if they aren't accepting my registration for some reason I need to uncover why. :P

It's because 12 year olds can't vote.

If it's Swansea council it's probably because they haven't got round to processing it yet...

Crystal ball tells me Mr "Don't Vote" now wants everyone to vote Labour (when it's too strawberry floating late if you aren't registered) after being won over by an interview no different to any other interview ever conducted.

Yeah it's a bit embarrassing really, doing a complete U-turn from his childish don't vote crap into the absolute bog standard "vote Labour to keep the Tories out!" stance, some revolution that. Come across like an 18 year old kid making his mind up on his first election, when in actual fact he's pushing 40. Still, at least he's not telling people to waste their vote anymore.

Yes, he's a bit of a banana split.

But at least he's not telling people to vote Tory or UKIP.

As an Irishman, I dont care too much about your election bar Ukip being a bunch of bastards.

I was hugely impressed with miliband on the trews though, came across really well, apart from when he says the word "exactly", he seems to slur "zackly" instead.

You'll care when the next Tory-LibDem coalition invades Ireland and dissolves Liverpool Football club.
