Mine struggles to load new tweets and has been since yesterday.

I highly recommend Tweetbot over the official app, especially if you use Twitter a lot.

+1 for Tweetbot, it's the spiritual successor to Tweetdeck if you liked that.

Really wish they would update the iPad version though.

Okay, I'll give it a try. When in doubt, I tend to stick to official products. :shifty:

One thing that, I think, the official app supports is custom timelines but I cannot seem to get it to work. I understand that Tweetbot does? It'd be terribly useful because I have quite a diverse lot that I follow.

If you mean lists then Tweetbot supports them and does it so much better than the official app since they are available from the home screen rather than having the option buried in your profile page.

Been using Tweetbot 3, since my last message. It's very good, so thanks the recommendation.

I have had trouble with replies not coming up earlier on, but I restarted the app and they're showing now. The photos aren't brilliantly done, though. If you go to..... Someone's account, you can oy see there most recent 20 photos, or so, and when you are looking at them in full view, you can't swipe between them. Pretty poor.

Otherwise, though it's great. The search function is much better than the official app's.

Tap on someone's account, then tweets and select the square icon on the far right next to the search bar. That switches between a timeline of the person's tweets and a timeline of their photos.

Ahh, nice. I've just spotted something else though. Tweetbot doesn't provide a direct link to open Vines in the Vine app, from what I can see (?).

On the other hand, it does support Instagram images, which was a nice surprise.

Yeah Twitter own Vine so their app is linked.

Got it. Didn't realise app developers had to have 'permission' to link to other apps.

If Noel was just a little more positive then the power of positivity would scare the immigrants away.
