New Girl has gotten better although last week's story about Zooey Deschanel being unable to find anyone to have a one night stand with was ridiculous.

A straight to DVD Justice League movie loosely based on JLA: Tower of Babel with the original DCAU Justice League cast! :wub:

The thirteenth release in the DC Universe Animated Original movie line, "Justice League: Doom" is an adaptation of Mark Waid's "JLA" "Tower of Babel" story, in which a group of villains steal Batman's contingency plans for neutralizing his fellow League members should they ever go rogue. The script, written by the late Dwayne McDuffie, does veer from the original story, including the substitution of Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) and Barry Allen (the Flash) in the roles originally filled by Kyle Rayner and Wally West while the Legion of Doom, led by Vandal Savage, takes the place of Batman villain Ra's Al Ghul. These, and other changes, led director Lauren Montgomery to not use the original comic books as a reference. "If something is sticking more closely to the comic, then we try to rely on it, like we did with '[Batman:] Year One,'" she explained. "[For this,] it wasn't really in our best interest to go to [the original comics.]"

February 28th in America for DVD and download.

Will be getting that. Was disappointed when JLuA finished. I wanted to know where things were going, what with Lex and Darkseid knowing the anti-life equasion thingy in the last episode.

The DCAU in general remains the peak of super-hero cartoons. Whenever I read a comic, I'm hearing the DCAU voice cast for a lot of the characters.

Same here. Didn't think much of Static Shock though if I'm honest, and I don't think I evber watched Legion of Super Heros. I think it was that that was on after Justice League Unlimited anyway. I know it was super-heros in the future.

Yeah I barely watched Static Shock. I remember liking the highly underrated The Zeta Project though which crossed over with Batman Beyond. Have you seen it? I can't recall ever seeing this Legion of Super-Heroes cartoon though.

No not seen or heard of the Zeta project, and looking on wiki there was a Legion TV series in 2006 and the first season had Superman in it, and a second Superman also appears in Season Two called "Superman X". This Superman (later given the name Kell-El) is from the 41st century and was created from Superman's DNA and Kryptonite (thus making him immune to the green rock) as a living weapon with different abilities (one of them is shooting green crystals from his hands). His main foe in the 41st century is Imperiex, who travels through time to the 31st century, forcing Superman X to follow him into the past and recruit the Legion to help him.

Hi people. I'm looking for a new, easy watching comedy-drama to help fill half hour slots when I can't think of anything more productive to do. Something along the lines of Entourage or Californication is what I'm hoping for but I'm open to any suggestions.
