Love it, great show. You don't have to know a lot/be into american football to enjoy it, it's a really good watch, I'd definitely recommend it.

I still don't fully understand UseNet, even though I downloaded the stuff suggested

You should PM Drumstick, he knows how to set it up and even knows how to set it up so it automatically schedules downloads for all your shows.

After many stressful hours and dozens of PMs to you asking why it wasn't working.

Seconded. It's one of my favourite ever shows. Like Jango said, you don't need to know much, if anything about American Football. My ex loved it too and she hates the sport.

Coach

If you do watch it and get into, just be prepared for a slight dip in quality in Season 2. The other 4 seasons are all gold though.

To be fair I was going fine with AltBinz and NZBMatrix for months. SABnzdb and SickBeard are something else.

Think I might have just set Sickbeard up. 8-)

We'll see when stuff comes out later. If it works, then that's amazing.

Watched the second half of the last season of Chuck last week. It was alright, but I'm glad the show has finished, as it was really out of ideas. There were some really stupid bits (Jeff and Lester figuring out what The Omen did, Chuck's fighting abilities, etc.), and some sections were a big anti-climax (Shaw's return, for instance), and it never matched the best parts of the second or third season, but there were some nice moments, and I'm glad I've watched it.

Thanks for the replies, will watch it then. I've got a decent knowledge of American Football from the Joe Montana/Jerry Rice era anyway.

Yeah, sickbeards hard to set up. :( It spazzed out earlier and tried downloading all the past episodes of the shows I watch. All of the past episodes. In HD. Kind of lucky it failed.

But on the other hand, it failed. No idea why. Any common SABnzbd/sickbeard mistakes I should know of?

I didn't know that :x He's so creepy!

Anyone know when the new series is set? I'd imagine it'd be two years down the line rather than the usual one year to account for the kids all growing up.

I thought the Friday Night Lights movie was average at best. I take it the series is better?

The first series is really good, everything else is just gooseberry fool.

Yes the series is much better than the film.

Jigger Jay, did you watch past the second season? Not sure how you could say the rest is gooseberry fool to be honest, the later seasons are arguably better than the first. It had one of the best finales I've seen.

Got Sickbeard working in the end with some help from Drummy.

Dude this is awesome. Got all of Fringe S4 in HD downloading. At the minute my speeds capped, so it'll take ages.

But when the cap comes off it's 30Mb/s all the way baby. More hassle to set up than JDownloader and MU were, but so worth it.

Wasn't the bit I was on about series 3? Series 2 was just redonkulous!

Possibly :shifty: It's been awhile since I watched those seasons, remembering how stupid that was I assumed it was the second season! Still, on the whole I thought the third season was great, and the final two seasons and the switch in schools was just fantastic.
