Also, have they ever explained why zombie bites are fatal, when it's been established that everyone carries the disease anyway?

This is good:

Faux outrage about;

Carl being bitten. No one truely likes Carl. No one. To be honest I can't see him dying, first to be immune or something

I'm sad at how boring TWD is now and how I really struggle to bring myself to watch it. Suppose 8 seasons with really unimaginative writing would do that.

My guess is that a zombie bite is very infectious and it triggers the dormant virus?

Well, that's the theme of Season 9 sorted, then.

Nah, he’s dead. The actor who plays Karl’s real Dad has been going mad at AMC for killing him off just as he bought a house in Georgia, near where they film.

Oh well, he was a terrible actor anyway.

My reaction to what happened to Coral is just 'meh'. I felt more emotion when Lori died, even though I didn't like her.

The garbage people turned out to be gooseberry fool again. What a waste of time that was.

I hope Negan kills off most of the cast.

Alright episode, at least something happened, but as always it was spoiled by strawberry floating stupid writing.

Rick and Negan, like nuts and gum, are together at last. Rick gets negan on the floor, stands over him with Lucille and... bops him in the mouth with the handle :fp: He then picks up his infinite magnum, gets pushed out the window and.... walks off :fp: He could have shot negan 5 times over there and then.

Chandler Riggs is going to college - can't act and get a degree and have that "full" college experience at the same time. That's why it's all going down.

It’s been a very poor half season. Awful in places and just ok in others.

The mid-season finale was disappointing, mainly because I had read the spoiler that turned out to be fake and I was looking forward to some actual brutality.

The trash people are just a complete waste of time. Awful.

The Saviours getting out was fine, but to not show it or explain it? Awful.

Karl getting bit is great, but I assume he is going to survive somehow. Awful.

Negan is the only thing saving the show at the moment and he hasn’t exactly done much this season. Oh and I like Trevor from GTA as well, but mainly because I see him as just his GTA character. ;)

I think Father Gabriel getting sick from being near the dead is going to play into Carl surviving somehow. The bite didn’t look infected considering it was a couple of days old so I think he’s just sick from getting up close with those zombies when he was with saddiq. Doesn’t explain why no one has gotten sick from that before though....

Maybe, BUT

The producers have already confirmed that Carl dies in the first episode after the break

Why not just kill the annoying little gooseberry fool when the Saviours were attacking? He could have had a heroic death fighting them off before Negan takes him down.

I still think he’ll live and this is their attempt to add in a shock.

Today I heard he got fired, which is why his dad's so pissed. Not sure what to believe.

Guess you could say he's a dead man walking.

Know what I find weird? How Daryl was a main character up until 2 or 3 seasons ago and now just plays back up to everyone and walks about with half cry eyes and making grunt noises.

Used to love him but now it wouldn't matter if he died.

And when he does get something to do, he strawberry floats it up.

“What’s that guys? The plan is to keep the Saviours trapped in a building and not let them out? Ok, hold on, I am just going to ram a truck through the side of the building!”
