I haven't got to the point of the comics that introduces the CW but it sounds rubbish. Think I've given up on the comics as well now. The last hardback collection I read was terrible stuff.

The last couple of episodes have been alright, still much better overall than the first half of season 8 which probably isn't overly hard to achieve actually. It's still blighted by small, annoying things though, both sides have an absolute shed load of ammunition in an apocalypse where new ammo probably hasn't been made in years (and how quick can Eugene actually replenish it?), the Saviours have an infinite amount of people to call upon (as do our group but not to the same degree), they should be showing both sides seriously depleted of willing people considering how long 'All Out War' has been going on for. Another thing is the weird character 'development', recently this seems to be doing a complete 180 on if they agree with the killing of the opposition or not, there's the exception to this but it's not common.

One of the things that irked me most about episode 13 was the Saviours proficiency with bows and arrows, I'm not saying they'll be terrible with them (as I don't know how much practice they'll have had off screen) but unless all of the Saviours are ex archers they were far too good.

Despite the annoyances I'm starting to enjoy it again a bit more than I have been for the past couple of seasons, I still feel they should end it sooner rather than later though as the general quality is still nowhere near where it once was.

Suspend your belief mate,it's clearly not a serious drama, just enjoy it for what it is.

I really liked this week's episode, lots of zombies, lots of intimate drama, that horrible savior finally died(the actor who played him is super nice) Rick just being a total bad ass with zero mercy and some nice throw back lines to 'Clear'.

I think the person that Negan picked up was
that cute young saviour that saw what discount Daryl did
,so it's gonna be fun and games back at the sanctuary. I can't wait.

Cool fact. That area where Carol found Henry hiding in was the EXACT SAME spot where the they filmed Rick hiding Sofia.

Amazing how that boy traveled all the way down to Georgia just to hide in a tangle of roots.

Yeah I probably put far too much thought into the things that annoy me but I can't help it sometimes

I do agree with who you think Negan picked up as well, one of the few candidates who fits with what'll be coming in the last couple of episodes as well.

There was quite a few callbacks as well which I did enjoy.

What if the person Negan picked up is Dwight's wife?

I think he would have had a different reaction to her,and she was desperate to get away from him. The person I said makes the most sense as to why they were kept secret from the viewer,it'll lead to an epic confrontation.

In fact,I predict
the saviour leaders will be having a meeting when in walks Negan. He'll kill Simon for his betrayal, everyone else will think they're safe from his wrath when he announces that he has a surprise guest. In will come that young girl,Dwight will gooseberry fool his pants and the episode will probably end

Also,I saw a trailer for Fear and as well as the lady from Darla and Greg,Garrett Dillehunt is also in the new series,I love that guy. Looks like he's playing a goodie type gunslinger whereas I think he'd be a really good baddie.

He's a really good character,I like the way he talks. His inevitable demise will be a shame.

I like Simon, he's almost as delightfully evil as Negan, but it's clear from the last couple of episodes that he's being set up as the "real" malevolent force in the Saviors, contrasted against Negan who seems to be getting humanized quite a good deal.

Thought it was a good episode this time :o If a bit predictable at the end, but pretty satisfying.

When the door opened to that woman I didn't have a clue who it was  Good job she gave a nice friendly recap.

And what was with forest man coming out of nowhere to stab that zombie? The girls would have seen him, but the director seems to treat the camera edges as the edge of the world. Popping in to shot in the middle of a clearing and the girls only seeing him then is just stupid.

The forest man is trying to convince the amazons to fight Negan with all of the no weapons they have because Rick, then Negan, took them.

I enjoyed that one, though Eugene's escape was pretty ridiculous.

We’ve already had the mid series break. I’m not sure if next week is the last episode.
