\o/ at Dale dying. About time. Good scene, was still a bit sad even though I hated the guy.

If only Carl would die too. And Carol. And Token.

Fair enough... thought that if it's aired on UK TV it's cool to talk about without spoilers.

Holy gooseberry fool, that final 10 minutes was probably the best the show has ever been. And the preview for next week

Unfortunately the spoilers were all 100% true so I knew what was gonna happen but it was done incredibly well.

Wow, what an episode  Cannot wait for next week. Seems as though it could have been Darabont holding the show back, because now it has really hit a stride and that's 3 brilliant episodes in the season.

Brilliant stuff this week. Expertly done pre-credits sequence launching into what is still an amazing theme tune.

Well that's this show strawberry floated now. Going to be boring without Shane. Great episode though.

Amazing episode today. It had been coming but I'm still gutted about Shane. Fortunately the show has really picked up lately so hopefully his absence won't affect it too much.

I got a REmake vibe from the scenes in the woods at night.

This weeks episode.
That was a pretty intense episode with the ending kinda matching the original storyline. I still would have like to see Rick dig up Shane so he could shoot him.

Next week looks intense.

AMAZING! Those last scenes were incredible, and not just good, but stylishly good. For some reason there was much more music this episode, and in a very different tone...reminded me a bit of 28 Days Later, very Mogwai/God Speed You Black Emperor!.

BUT, someone explain to me...

What happened with Shane? Why did he suddenly resurrect? Why were there so many people in the woods? It almost seemed like a dream sequence.

Well that's the general idea floating around. Happened to Randall, too.

Comic spoiler.

In the comic, it's Carl that shoots Shane after Shane goes loco. They bury Shane and move on, however it becomes apparent that you dont need to be bitten to become a walker after you die.Realising this, Rick goes back to Shane's grave, digs him up and finishes him off for good.

It's something that has really puzzled me about the walkers. How come there are so many? I mean, every clip we see where the walkers have caught someone, they are eating the corpse beyond recognition. They dont just bite and leave the body, they devour it. So where have all the walkers come from? Or to put it another way, how come there are so many good looking (intact) walkers?

That was a great episode, the climax was handled perfectly.

Although:

Show with gooseberry fool characters in abundance...kill best character.
