I thought that those were the real credits when I saw them a few weeks ago, they're so good. I was really disappointed when I saw the sequence they're actually using.

Awesome 2nd episode.

Show seems to be pushing boundaries. Actually calling

I'm currently stuck with the slowest connection I've ever seen on broadband, It's like going back to a 56k modem.

Is it worth using the extra usenet bandwidth to watch this in HD?

As good as it is (and it is good) I'm struggling to get past the fact that it's Egg from This Life.

The fan made credits would be completely out of place with the tone of the show, they just wouldn't work. I think the real credits are fine. Love Bear McCreary's score. It's very reminiscent of Rubicon's opening credits.

Great second ep. Touch more levity in this one, but was still plenty dark. The
sound effects when chopping up the zombie
were horrible.

That isn't boundary pushing when it comes to cable television. I'm surprised at the lack of strawberry floats and gooseberry fools though. I mentioned this in the USTV thread in relation to a different show but when the characters don't swear in a show like this.. I dunno, it seems to take something away from it.

Brilliant second episode, anyway.

Great second episode apart from the wallet of the dead guy reading bit, felt a bit out of place but was instantly redeemed with Glen's amazing Organ Donor line.

Basic cable networks like AMC self-censor based on what advertisers and localised stations demand stays out. You get a few gooseberry fools but no strawberry floats.

These first two episodes have been fantastic and much better than I thought they would be. The corpse chopping scene was genuinely stomach churning.

But the guy who plays him is a badass

Really enjoyed episode 2. They fly by which whilst annoying, is also a sign that it's very enjoyable. Great stuff so far and some very tense moments. I am a pussy and am scared of zombies though, so they are the only horror genre of films that creep me out.

Watching it HD is a must I think. The gore looks delicious

Michael Rooker. He's in LOADS of stuff, but it's mostly gooseberry fool. He always plays a sinister henchman though it seems.

So tempted to get the graphic novels now. But then I'd just be spoiling everything for myself. But I need more now! :fp:
