That was strawberry floating ridiculous.

They bottled it and the emotional heft of a great episode went down the toilet.

And after - let’s go forward a few years again. That’s the only way we can keep things interesting.

It was strawberry floating gooseberry fool. How many times can he pass out and the zombies not gain any ground on him?

Absolute bollocks.

He's dead....no he isn't! Yes he is! OR IS HE?!

WELL HE MIGHT RETURN AT SOME POINT WINK WINK KEEP WATCHING VIEWERS!

Did Daryl get his arrow stock from Hershell's infinite ammo shop?

If you're going to hype up killing off the star of a show at every opertunity, you can't have a whole episode with HEY MEMBER THIS CHARACTER , fatal injuries, supposed climactic showdowns and then not follow through with it, because it's cheap and basically plot armour all over again. If he's not dying don't do a fakeout gooseberry fool death build up.

I joked that there would be dynamite on the bridge, I can't beleive there actually was

It was a gutless cop out and ruined a good episode. The character and fans deserved better than that. Utter bullshit.

I thought the Maggie and Negan bit was good.

I didn’t think that was a great episode. It was a complete cop out to not kill Rick off. It did make me laugh when he had his dream sequence of Daryl and Michonne running in to save him.

There is some enjoyment left in the show (the Negan/Maggie bit was ok) and maybe they can turn things around, but most of the time I just sit there wondering why I am still bothering to watch it.

I am sure a kid with a cowboy hat will be an amazing addition to the cast.

Now come on Moggy, her nickname is little ass kicker. We've got lots of her kicking ass to look forward too, plus hopefully a good 5 or 6 seasons of her looking for her dad (to be concluded in 3 films!).

I forgot that. Little Ass Kicker on a quest to find the helicopter that stole her daddy. Sounds awesome.

At least Glowy is happy that they didn’t “murder” Rick.

Regarding Maggie/Lauren Cohan:
"That's the last of her for this season," showrunner Angela Kang confirms, speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about Cohan's work in season nine. AMC programming president David Madden verifies the news, adding: "I would hope it's not the last you'll see of her for the show, but she is not in any immediately forthcoming episodes."

This past spring, Cohan signed on for a series regular role on ABC's new drama Whiskey Cavalier, following a months-long contract negotiation with AMC over her work on The Walking Dead. The deal allowed her to return to Walking Dead in a limited capacity for season nine; given the way this most recent episode ends, it would appear the capacity has reached its limit.

"We've been talking to Lauren and hopefully we'll get to tell more story for her," Kang says. "We definitely have some things up our sleeve that we'd love to do. A lot of that is just a scheduling conversation, so hopefully that will all work out, because I think mutually we would like to continue with Maggie's story, for sure."

Adds Madden: "Angela and Lauren talk. They are actually friendly. And we would like to see her come back. A lot of that is going have to do with Whiskey Cavalier [which premieres midseason on ABC] and what her availability then becomes, which we obviously don't control. But creatively, we would love to see her return to some degree. And we definitely feel there is more of Maggie's story to tell. We did not, as you have seen, kill her off in 905. We established that she is out there somewhere. And that's something we would like to pay off by having her return, if her schedule permits."

Enjoyed that. The next set of bad guys are really really grim. Makes negan look like a pussy cat. Can't wait.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Fantastic to see
Rick and michonne had a baby
,I whooped and cheered.

Will we get to see Opie or will he constantly be masked I wonder.

Negan looked cool and good to see Judith taking Carl's place in the comics with the chats.

And Carol
merciless killer once again

Good to father Gabriel
getting some female action with a total honey

And finally Eugene isn't a pussy,hoorah.
