I think Sasha and Rosita going off on a mission makes perfect sense really, they're two people who have lost everything and have their sights set solely on killing Negan. It wasn't that long ago that Sasha was practically suicidal, and that was before Abraham got bashed. I totally get that they'd try the suicidal mission to end everything, even if we have to suffer the whole 'team widows' bullshit.

The episode was definitely slow, ponderous and full of filler, but it did have a couple of nice moments. The scene between Daryl and Maggie was nicely played. And seeing Eugene in full on Negan mode was quite startling. That character arc is totally believable, the idea that he finally thinks he's somewhere that he can be important and make a difference. One of the highlights of the season so far for me, that.

At least something happened, but as usual it was done badly. So the main saviour Base is now guarded by one person, captain mullet? Two dippy sulking women can just stroll up to a fence, cut it and walk in a door and nobody anywhere else clocks anything?

At least the hidden escape hatch thing was cool.

I thought it was a good episode. Simon's always great. Loved the scenes with Daryl and Maggie.

Liked Sasha and Rosita's bonding.

Not a bad episode. Eugene really, really need his ass handed to him. I've never liked his character from the start. Oh and that bit where they turn the walkie-talkie on to hear him splurt out a load of bollocks 'Label me Mr. Evil, I'm Negan's left bollock. I'm in charge etc etc......' strawberry float off....

The Maggie and Daryl scenes were nice though.

How many more episodes are left for this season? It's out staying it's welcome now.

I can't wait until next week where we'll have a side character learn to make bread or something for most of the episode with a major character teaching them, proclaiming it's great they know how to do it and now they're looking forward to baking bread for the rest of their lives, only for the bread maker to die by a stealth zombie even though we've now established they are no threat whatsoever. Then Maggie finds a baby cot or something and starts crying.

Thinking about it, it's probably the saviour Darryl equivalent who's in the shadows. Probably got a sweet bread recepie he's just picked up.

Maybe they will come across "object 1" and need to hang around it because they need "object 2". Then suddenly they are ambushed by "object 3" so have to use "object 1" to escape.

I thought that episode was boring as strawberry float. Not the worst episode but just devoid of entertainment, the only exceptions being Trevor (who is hilarious) and the brief bit of action at the end.

I get Sasha will die as she's got the Star Trek gig but why the strawberry float keep Rosita alive? Her moody, petulant, one woman army bullshit is grating as hell. "Oooo I won't miss if I shoot at him!", really? You already strawberry floating missed from point blank range a few episodes ago you strawberry floating idiot.

Knew it was going to be a nothing episode when they spent a whole five minutes doing a montage of basically nothing happening before the titles even rolled. At least
Sasha is probably dead now
although it was offscreen so no doubt they'll find some way of spinning it out to the finale.

Trevor was the only good thing in that episode, but even then we've seen that same 'saviours take our stuff' scene about 10 times now, and they always get what they came for.

Sasha will fail, be zombified and added to the Fence 'O Walkers just in time for Rosita to show up with the gang, so she can get all angry and kill everyone (especially Eugene) herself.

Rick will get sweaty.
