So i just finished episode 2 of the first season and when i try starting episode 3 it's asking me if i would like to generate story decisions for skipped episodes. What the hell is this? Anyone had this happen to them? I'm not sure what to do now.

What are you playing it on, because it seems like there is solution for PC gamers, but not for others. It is a well known bug.

I'm playing the PS4 version. I tried replaying the end of episode 2 to see if that helped but it didn't. In the end i just had to select yes to generating story decisions so i could carry on playing but luckily none of my decisions had been changed.

Did anyone else get the new Michonne game that came out today?

Got it on PC and only started it last night to play the intro. Can't wait to get stuck in to it. I'll eventually get it on PS4 too seeing as I have Walking Dead S1/2 on it which still need finishing.

Seeing as I finished Season 1 and 2, I'll be picking this up tomorrow to get stuck into.

Episode 1 is good but a bit shorter than previous ones, must have taken me about an hour and a half if that. They've made the action scenes a bit more dynamic with more button prompts and stuff. Voice acting is as good as ever, and as usual Telltale puts everyone else to shame when it comes to character diversity. Getting a bit bored of every Walking Dead story ever involving a dodgy settlement run by dodgy people.

I've played all of Telltale's previous TWD games on PC and I've heard the console versions can be pretty dodgy, but I only noticed a few framerate stutters on the PS4 version.

Framerate stutter is the most drastic thing wrong with the games running on that Telltale engine on console nowadays. Last gen though, Jesus Christ.

I noticed a lot of stops in the latter episodes of Season 2 on X1, I re-booted my xbox and it was ok after that, was brain farting for long pauses between some scenes. With games coming thick and fast im gonna wait for the half price version of this michonne stuff that will inevitably happen in august some time.

In my experience, disc versions don't suffer from it as much as digital. I played retail version of GoT, 4 eps were already on the disc, I had to download final ep. The only ep to have trademark TT stutter was that final ep.
Tales from the Borderlands (which I think is digital only, at the moment) was a mostly painless experience, thankfully. Cannot recall any stutters, there were a few sound problems and one outright glitch, (a scene played out twice with double the protagonists on sceen at once :slol:) but nothing as bad as last gen TT efforts.

I can't download episode one of Michonne on PS3.

I choose to download, the loading screen comes up for two seconds but then goes back to The Walking Dead: Michonne homepage

Help

I downloaded Season One of this in the Easter sale and played it over the weekend. Wow, that was some experience. Gameplay wise the puzzles were extremely basic and the QTEs were hardly taxing, but the story was gripping, and although it seems like your choices don't affect the overall game too much, the little changes to the journey and character interactions were great to watch. I don't even want to replay it as I feel I've made 'my' choices and that's what happened.

And the ending :( That was pretty hard to watch. Luckily I'd managed to avoid any real spoilers, apart from knowing it had a sad ending, so throughout the game I was fully expecting Clementine to die. It was a shock when Lee got bit at the end of episode four :( . Having to shoot Duck also hit me harder than I thought it would as he was quite annoying at the start. I guess him being my sidekick in investigating the missing supplies did it's job.

I have Season Two waiting after it was on PS+ awhile ago, plus I haven't played 400 days yet. Are these as good as the first season? They have a lot to live up to.

Yes, of course it is worth it to play Season Two, but personally I'm much preferred Season One though. Due it was first time experience to play and you don't know what to expect, but in Season Two you will be more familiar with the situation. Don't get me wrong there are some twists and surprises!

I'm at chapter 4 of Season Two now. Really enjoying it. Telltale are an incredibly talented bunch.

I absolutely love the fact that it plays like an interactive version of a TV program, and a program that I also love! Don't think I will ever get bored of these games.

As I mentioned in my 'annoying characters' thread, strawberry floating Sarah. So strawberry floating useless. I even let Clementine show her how to use a gun in the hope that it's toughen her up, but no. Total pussy.

I'm sure I downloaded it from the in-game menu.

I tried that last week without luck. Now episodes 2 and 3 are available for download via the in-game menu.

Thanks

Started New Frontier over Christmas

Well that was interesting. New Engine runs much better here than it did in Batman

Import tool worked remarkably well (PC to PS4) - although the directions on where to locate your imported save were wrong on the website.

Interesting moving away from Clem as protagonist - it means you're put in the positionĀ of reacting to Clem/her actions when you know more about her than your character does. It's an odd feeling during the decision making process.

Choices

Episode 1

Was passive/contrite when got to the house
Didn't Smoke
Backed up Kate and said we shouldn't stay
Didn't shoot the man running away
Won Poker
Told the Truth to Tripp
Went with Elenor

Episode 2

Buried Mariana with her tape player (can't believe she died. I liked her. Now I'm stuck with unlikeable one - probably the intent)
Gave myself up to New Frontier
Tried to be helpful/optimistic with Kate
Talked fairly and honestly with Jesus
Shot Conrad
Surrendered quickly at the end
