Well it is a refreshing to "play" Walking Dead in this format. I probably wouldn't be as interested if it was a third person/first person shooting games that many "Zombies" games fall into. And actually have a bloody good story helped a lot.

Just beat this on my iPad! Stunning game and the best story/ending in a game since Red Dead Redemption to me! I really enjoyed the episodic nature of this and would definitely welcome similar accompanying series to other TV shows! This is what the Lost game should have been like!

Loved this!

Bought this on XBLA during the Xmas offer, and finished it last night.

I thought it was a fabulous story which really connected you with the characters. Episode 2 was the highlight for me, and Episode 4 the least impacting of the 5 episodes. Fantastic ending to it all, but really Lee had to die and leave Clem prepared to bring the whole thing together.

Not sure I'd quite have it as GOTY, although I would have it as story of the year. Best videogame story since Red Dead Redemption for me (which I think is the best story game I've ever played).

An absolute bargain at 800MSP!!

Quite possibly. One of my mates said he cried at the ending. I nearly did, but then the last 25G popped and I was ok.

I cried at the end, I became incredibly emotionally invested with clem and lee. No doubt due to my massive obsession with zombies. But the last few moments of the game were heart wrenching :(

I sobbed...it was just all too much. I stood staring at the screen not really reading the credits and was in a bit of shock I think. As I said, my daughter came in (she's only 2) and said "ok daddy?" and I gave her the biggest hug ever!

I still think some people are doing the game a disservice by separating the story and gameplay so much with this game. The story pretty much is the gameplay really, and even though you can't influence things too much in the long run the interaction made me feel far more involved in the story than I would have been otherwise. It's far more effective here than it is in the Mass Effect trilogy for instance, as in those games it was almost always a case of deliberately picking the paragon or renegade choices. Here I was faced with touch decisions throughout, and I was rarely sure of myself. It made for many far more dramatic moments that's for sure. It also made your relationship with Clem that much involving.

Basically the story wouldn't have been as good if it wasn't for your influence on it, and as far as I'm concerned that's gameplay.

Yeah this is a genre of its own. Something we hopefully get more of.

Started this on Sunday on the PS3, just finished it a few minutes ago. Wow, just wow. Amazing. :(

There needs to be more games like this made. Are there any games similar to this? The closest thing I have played is Heavy Rain.

Yeah I think Heavy Rain is the closest to it. Maybe LANoire at a push, if you squeeze your eyes together a little

Just finished episode 2. I have a feeling I may regret a couple of decisions.

What an episode though :dread:

Spoilers:
Poor Mark  I think killing Danny in front of Clementine might bite me in the arse, then not choosing Kenny in the meat locker, but the big one has to be that strawberry floating car at the end, I took the supplies. I can't even imagine what gooseberry fool I have unleashed.

I'm at the exact same place -
I spared the brother - executing him in front of everyone wouldn't have been wise. I chose to help Lilly but her dad dies anyway. The car? I'm no thief, "I want no part of it."

Only read if you have completed all of the episodes! Major spoilers, you have been warned!

What happens at the end if you do not take or at least say you do not want to take the supplies?

I presume the madman still takes Clem, but does he acknowledge that you didn't want to take his supplies?

Can't do spoiler tags on my phone, so I'll be vague;
He acknowledges it, but then says "but you didn't stop the others, did you?!" and continues his tirade.

To be honest, it was the first time I felt like my choices had no real impact, as the same stuff happens either way. Still a fantastic game.

Did 2 and 3 in one go last night, Episode 3 was particularly glorious.
There's not much in the way of game here, though. I regularly wish it out of the way immediately so I can keep watching.
