Wind and rain beating loudly against the windows here in south London. 45mph, apparently.

Edit: I don't know how this new thread appeared! I posted on the old Weather thread :o .

That thread hadn't been posted in since December 2009.

Please don't bump very old threads.

Honestly don't think I've ever sat through a storm like that. Biblical

I could hear heavy rain last night but slept through the storm. Walking to work this morning though, there is debris everywhere.

Could not sleep last night for the wind and the rain battering the house :(

It's still going too.

Supposed to be getting a ferry to a wedding planning meeting just before lunch. I believe I shall be having to take a rain check :? :x

Got woken up in the night by a car alarm and had to get earphones to use as earplugs. Woke again 40 mins later and car alarm was still going off. Super windy here last night.

The wind is once again raging across the landscape here in south London. Back up to 45mph and I'm just about to wander out into it.

EDIT: Blimey, it really is ridiculously blowy :o .

Horrific noises coming from the wind hitting the conservatory roof, there's some really ear piercing howls going on.

Sounds like sound effects for a 50's horror film.

I've recently replaced my glass conservatory roof with a proper roof. I really don't miss the worry that it will collapse during storms.

Is the ultimate middle class humblebrag to moan about the noise the wind makes on your conservatory? ;)

It is not as annoying as having to employ an extra cleaner when the east wing of your house is just too much for your existing cleaning staff to deal with. :x

The rain has been pretty much constant for hours now... so much of it!
