It'll push away by the middle of this afternoon. Some big readings on the radar over the SE (which I assume is where you are) at the moment.

I am, Curls! Yeah, it seems that water is gonna keep pouring until around 1500. I've gotta go out then so I'll get my dinghy ready.

Yay! No more outside.

It's very pretty but strawberry float being back to 3 degrees pitch black starts already.

I loved that for the most part we had a great hot summer, but at the same time I don't mind it getting cooler now as it's autumn, that's what is meant to happen! It's a really nice day here, beautiful clear blue skies but with a real crisp and cool feel to it.

Looking forward to the nights drawing in, getting the house all warm, being able to eat "hearty" meals like stews and proper homemade pies, sitting in pubs with open fires etc.

Autumn

Apparently it was a whole 10 degrees colder in the south of England than it was in Glasgow this morning.

Truly the world has gone mad and we are paying the price for all the people bringing bad weather karma on us with their moaning about the heat over summer!

Every morning this week it's been freezing in the morning, but then by lunchtime it's been clear blue skies and 20+ degrees. My wardrobe curses this weather.

This is what those trousers with a zipper around the knees to convert them into shorts were invented for!

I thought they were invented so you could spot social pariahs at a distance and cross the street.

That would make more sense.

This "4 seasons in a day" weather is proving challenging though, particularly as the aircon in our office is on the blink so you're never sure whether it's going to be freezing or tropical either inside or out!

I've been loving the cooler weather, I've been able to get out for walks and take up running again. I mean, it's not actually cold yet so it's still t-shirt weather and I'm still sleeping with the window open but we're heading in the right direction. :toot:
