Halfway through season 4 now, and honestly, I prefer season three so far.
Don't get me wrong, it's great, and I like how Prez is in it a lot, but it hasn't 'wowed' me yet. Still, I'm expecting it to escalate in the second half of the season.

So far though, 3>4>2>1.

For me as much as I like and hate McNulty in equal measures and Omar is great, Bunk is a legend, the show is all about Bubbs.

strawberry floating hell, dunno if it's just me but I really want Marlon to be got. Argh. I hate him and his strawberry floating crew. :x

Very, very good. Best TV season I've ever seen.

Yo B, his name Marlo.

Mah bayd. Typo, yo.

My brother was right all along, Stringer ain't the badass, it's Avon. He is so strawberry floating awesome. I loved it when he was getting arrested as the end of season 3, realised he was strawberry floated, just started laughing and sat down on his couch waiting for the pow-lice to break in.

Edit: oops, realised I should have spoilered that as soon as I left the PC.

Currently blasting through season 5, trying to get finish it before Uni.
It's alright, I'm still enjoying it. Glad to see Omar back (his introduction  ), and lots of the season seems good. I like the financial constraints, I like the Greeks have returned and the theme tune is the only one I actually like . However, the whole 'serial killer' thing is a bit odd. Marlo is good too, but it was really sad to see Joe go. :( :(

Also, end of season 4, BOOOOOOOODIIIIIIIIEEEEE!!! :( :( :( :( I loved that man.

Finished this off today. I think the first 3 seasons are the best, perhaps with the season 3 finale being the best moment. The 3 stand together well. 4 and 5 get abit to stretched, and i think the newspaperand the political storiesand to a lesser extent theschool storylost the show some focus. And whilst hamsterdamis a bit far, the homeless story is a bit ridiculous.

My favourite character is definately omar, but its a shame het got got, they should have had micheal whistle "the farmer needs a wife" at the end.

I also like it when clay says Shheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit

Oh and this was a srs question btw.

What was the point of killing D? I don't get why Stringer ordered the kill.

Avon was trying to help him on the inside but D wanted out of the game. The way he was acting, they thought he was snitching, or about to. Before it happend he almost did, but him mum stepped in. Stringer was just being cautious

My friend at work: "I watched a bit [of an episode] of The Wire and it looked boring".

:fp: Obviously, I told him to watch it from the start... He won't though.

Yep, I can't get over how much of a prick Ziggy is. If he was my brother I'd have to disown my family.

Check out Generation Kill (same guys behind The Wire). Guy that plays Ziggy is in it and from the 3/4 episodes I've watched he's much more likeable.
