Great cross but a touch of offside.

That Fran Kirby is probably the most exciting player I've seen in an England shirt in years

Bardsley has dealt really well with all those slow daisy cutters, shame she spilt that.

Yeah, that Kirby looked a real cut above the rest.

Was only half-watching the game but really enjoyed that. Any team can still qualify from the group with the last game to play so it should make for good viewing. Might even make an effort to watch it!

Good game that. If they had a bit more power it would be better. Too many pea rollers. Entertaining though.

I started watching this match. My wife said what are you watching which I told her and she said that's getting desperate. She's not even a football fan.

Anyway I think it's been pretty good so far,not sure about the penalty but its been given lots of times in other matches.

It seems rather poor form for the Brazil team to wear the kit bearing the stars resembling the men's success. :shifty:

The ladies can be told to remove the stars when they lose 7-1 to Germany in a semi-final.

Anyone notice how when the women score they grab each other's tits a lot in celebration?

You say that but I assume, given the money in women's football, that Nike simply produce the exact same kits for them.

And it's the WOMEN'S WORLD CUP.

It's a valid point by Cosmo, they haven't added stars to the Jerseys for the winning women's teams over the years so why are they wearing Jerseys showing the men's success? I don't think cost comes into it. It is probably an oversight.

Heres a thought.

If the England women won the World Cup, and they added a star to the current badge, how would you feel?

This is what I was getting at. Currently they don't add the stars to the tops when the women win but they wear shirts that represent the titles won by the men. It doesn't make sense either have individual tops for the women's game or add their titles to the Jerseys.

Personally it doesn't bother me either way.

The USA (kit made by Nike) and Germany have two stars, Norway (kit also made by Nike) and Japan both have one. The Spanish men's team have the star, but the women do not. So you see the manufacturers both add and take away the stars.

I wasn't being entirely serious, just seemed a bit odd.
