So prepare your argument for why you should be paid more and ask for more.

Exactly - make a list to show how you have more responsibility and experience but are paid less. Send an e-mail to your manager explaining this and also arrange a meeting with them to discuss.

This is the same people who were trying to accuse me of trying to destroy the company, I'm trying to work hard and keep a low profile honestly. Our office is just terrible.

Well you have two options:

1. Make your case trying for a rise
2. Say nothing and get on with it

My issue is I'm trapped, I can't accept less money because then I can't afford rent anywhere in the area, but new jobs all pay less. I'll make a case for a raise if I don't hear anything by August (which will mark my third year at the company).

That's why commuting exists.

Indeed.

So have you been there 3 years with no pay increase at all Qikz?

I've had pay increases, just not recently.

Communiting is VERY expensive, especially if I move out of the oyster zone as I can't drive, but I can't afford to drive either.

Ah okay, that's not so bad then!

If it's been over a year, the company is doing fine, and you can demonstrate both that you've performing well and are not being paid in line with others (locally or in the wider market) then they would be pretty dickish to not at the very least consider a raise.

In terms of the commuting cost question I presume that relocating is not an option?

Commuting is expensive, but cost of livi living of sets it so you can earn less and still survive because the saving is made on the cost of rent and that.

Relocation could also be an option.

Bullshit.

I guarantee, if you are doing more work than others, you could easily find a new job that pays better.

I presume SD is looking for a "like for like" move, really as you have experience and stuff now you should be able to take a bit of a leap up in a move by using what you now know as justification for saying you can do a higher level role.

That weekend was just nonexistent for me. It flew in way too quickly.
