I think this lack of atmosphere in the WWE at the moment is beginning to become a bit of a problem. I'm currently watching 205 Live and the crowd is deathly silent apart from some mild clapping. It's like they're at a funeral. It doesn't get massively better on the main shows either.

I don't know whether it's the type of crowds WWE are now attracting or if they're just indifferent/bored out of their mind but they need waking up because it's killing the shows.

Are they still taping 205 Live after Smackdown when the cruiserweight division is on Raw?

Been watching 97's Raws. What they need to appeal to is drunk college students. The sound was deafening back then. Any old gooseberry fool was getting cheered.

Some of the best crowds were when they would go to university based arenas. They still now go to them but they are attended by families in the late 90s it was full of college students as you say.

People cheer a lot on Smackdown.

Peopl are cheering less on raw because the writing is awful and people aren't even sure who they are meant to cheer for because the heels and faces are so interchangeable.

People cheer less on 205 because the wrestlers aren't well known by the casual crowd and it's filmed after the Smackdown Main Event.

I don't remember the last time I heard proper boos like this on Raw: https://youtu.be/z7EZ3wOrfwc?t=165 strawberry floating love the reactions of the kids in the front row when Miz gets slapped

All of their heels are either just heels because they're foreign, or heels because they cheat in matches, which really isn't enough to hate someone, especially if they are entertaining like KO and Chris.

They've got a real problem booking faces and heels on Raw. Rollins always just comes off as a cocky heel and Reigns is Reigns. Rusev always seems to be involved in silly feuds where the face is a total heel (Reigns with the wedding cake and taking the piss out of his family, Enzo basically sexually harassing Lana) which hasn't helped him at all.

The difference between Owens in NXT where she was an absolute badass and on Raw where he's a cowardly heel is like night and day. Jericho is their second biggest heel but he's basically their biggest babyface just now. They've completely balked up Sami Zayn who would be one of the top faces in the company after his NXT run.

You can totally tell that the guy that used to be the head writer on NXT when it was on that great run moved to Smackdown.

Wow, the crowd is in bad way if you considering that good booing

Bret Hart was loathed but in a great way with the anti American gimmick. Normally hate it but he just does it so well.

I agree 100%

I think Stephanie just really personifies their lack of self awareness in regards to the writing.

I'm actually enjoying 205 more than RAW at the moment.

Also you know what's hilarious. Smackdown showcases the women a lot more even though they have less time.

That's another thing, why the strawberry float is Jinder even helping Rusev? Because they're both Foreign?

If you want to be kind you could say it's a mutual dislike of Enzo & Cass. But as it's WWE your reasoning is far more likely.

As it's raw then yes it's because they are both foreign, if it was smackdown then there would be a storyline reason that gets you from A to B before you finally get the payoff at C and you feel happy about yourself and content that you haven't wasted your time watching wrestling. I think that's what the mark my words video on the other page said anyway.

You could, but Jinder only dislikes Enzo because Enzo kept mocking him. So how does that make him the heel?

I know you were that's why I wrote it.

Jinder is the heel because he clearly takes steroids.

I like that Smackdown is better than Raw, reminds me of my youth. They need to tone back on treating NXT as a brand and have it for what it is, a developmental show, and call up everyone who is ready, Joe, Nakamura, Roode, The Revival, that Ten guy, Eric Young, Asuka, DIY and probably more are more than ready to be called up to either Raw, Smackdown or even 205 live! I don't even watch NXT much anymore, just when I hear something interesting happened on it, which is rarely.
