Can I be in the Rumble Sweepstake this year?

Gonna be the first Royal Rumble I've missed in over a decade thanks to having an operation in the morning. *crosses fingers for surprise Punk return*

Is there one? I got AJ Styles last year. Which completely made up for not winning.

So excited for tonight. The Rumble is way more exciting than Mania for me. Hoping to see Joe and Dillinger. Despite Angle denying it, I still have my heart set on him returning. The only thing that could make me interested in the Goldberg / Lesnar feud is adding Angle into it. Guy can still go, the last few matches I saw from him were better than the last few matches I saw from Lesnar, that's for sure. Potential Balor return to consider too.

I'm curious whether Styles will drop the belt tonight or at Elimination Chamber. It feels like it's coming. Which is a shame, but I feel he's the guy they're likely to pick to put over Nakamura when he's called up (surely around Mania time?). After their amazing NJPW match prior to his Rumble debut, I hope it's on the cards. Probably more wishful thinking than anything else. It feels like Owens' time is up too.

I saw someone suggest keeping Jericho in the Shark cage until his number is up for the Rumble and just lowering him into it.

As SmackDown have a PPV coming up in 2 weeks I would have thought it was more likely to change the belt there - perhaps culminating with AJ Styles and John Cena in the cage.

Yes. I personally don't bet and never have but seems like a good shout. I think if owens retains then Jericho will win.

Make it 8pm - trying to do this in a crowded restaurant isn't gonna happen.

I'm really hoping someone like Orton doesn't win the Rumble.

Just looked at the odds and he's currently the favourite.

Ah chap just looked on Skybet and paddy power and you are right. I hope that's a red herring. It's happened before. I think Kane was bookies favourite one year recently.

I always wonder why I dislike Orton during his injury spells, then he comes back and immediately headlocks someone for five minutes.

Called Orton a couple of days ago in the GRAPL thread....then forgot to submit my entry :fp: But yeah, it'd be pretty lame if he won.
