Undertaker and Reigns promo last night was quite... err... something

Reigns: "This is my yard"
*DONG*
Taker: "No your yard is this hole"
Reigns: "NO, THIS MY YARD"
*DONG*
Taker: "NO YOU"
*Fade to black*

Yeah the match obviously has potential to be good because of the two competitors, but the build up has been fairly poor.

I agree the build up has been extremely poor. Which I find odd considering undertaker took part in the Rumble, he doesn't even usually appear at the Rumble in his pre mania build up so I think they've handled it very poorly. If reigns beats taker then for me it will be a very cheap win and puts the nail in taker for me. He's well past it and the last few years I've found it a bit embarrassing watching him. this surely won't be his retirement match so if he fights again next year I will probably have little interest in it

I think I'm looking forward to this year's Mania more than last year's. KO vs Jericho should be really good and I'm dying to see the crowd reaction when Reigns beats Taker.

ITV going all in with World of Sport:

Jeff Jarrett wrote:From the very beginning, it's a full-on wrestling promotion. It goes with everything. This show is already being shopped internationally around the world. We are going to look at live touring, merchandise, licencing, who knows, maybe a pay-per-view in the future. But it's a full-on wrestling promotion. It's not going to just be a television show.

A television company owning and running a fully-fledged wrestling promotion again. This has the potential to massive. Incredibly exciting if ITV (with the help of IMPACT WRESTLING) can pull this off.

It's back in July, along with a proper website.

Had Monday booked off for Mania for months 8-) Going out for it, cant wait, although need to watch more of the build up as been watching less snd less.

Been out probably 5 or more times for it, better atmosphere than many a game of football. At least 3 pubs/clubs have a night for it in Glasgow now, pretty cool.

Surely that graveyard segment with the Undertaker/Reigns would have made more sense leading to a Buried Alive match.

When Taker showed up behind Reigns I also honestly thought it was an imposter in a wig. :fp:

Oooh Cesaro & Sheamus v Enzo & Cass v Gallows & Anderson is a ladder match for the titles. Looking forward to that one too.

I think there are 11 now, unless you're throwing shade.

Hosts: The New Day

WWE Universal Title Match:
-Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg (c)

WWE Title Match:
-Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt (c)

Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match for the Raw Women’s Title:
-Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley (c)

WWE United States Title Match:
-Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho (c)

WWE Intercontinental Title Match:
-Baron Corbin vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

Triple Threat Ladder Match for the Raw Tag Team Titles:
-Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (c’s)

Smackdown Women’s Title 6 Pack Challenge Match:
-Mickie James vs. Carmella vs. Natalya vs. Becky Lynch vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss (c)

Non-Sanctioned Match:
-Triple H vs. Seth Rollins

-Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker

-John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse

-Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles

Kickoff Pre-show: WWE Cruiserweight Title Match:
-Austin Aries vs. Neville (c)

Kick off Pre-show: Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal:
-Braun Strowman, Sami Zayn, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Chad Gable, Jason Jordan, Mark Henry, Titus O’Neil, Goldust, R-Truth, Curtis Axel, Primo, Epico, Bo Dallas, Jinder Mahal, Rhyno, Heath Slater, Mojo Rawley, Curt Hawkins, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Simon Gotch, Aiden English, Kalisto, Viktor, Konnor and Sin Cara.

It's a shame Aries and Neville has been bumped to the pre-show, as it'll probably be one of the better matches of the night. I imagine the crowd would pop for Aries, he spent much of his career in Orlando at TNA / Impact, doubtless now it'll be half-filled if they're lucky by the time they go. I'm disappointed the rematch between American Alpha and The Uso's isn't happening at 'Mania. Traditional tag matches at 'Mania always seem in short supply. The Miz and Maryse killed it on SmackDown with the skits. It'll almost make what will surely be a train-wreck of a match worth it.

I wonder if Mauro Ranallo is done; this is the 3rd straight week he's missed SD/205. His depression must be pretty bad, and WWE doesn't seem like the most sympathetic of companies to work for with such a condition. Rumours suggest JBL has been giving him some stick, which wouldn't surprise me. Guy has form.

Cuban Pete, you just made the list.

I wish I could do that some day but I really don't see myself having the opportunity. I should have done it in my early 20s when I had no responsibilities (and friends) but it never crossed my mind. My last hope is waiting for my son to grow up and go with him.

Rumour has it Reigns/Taker to main theshow which is for the best imo, probably the biggest match on the card.

Slightly more hyped, maybe because I looked at the matches last year, wow what a shite card.

That's a shame, we all know that the real main event should have been Jericho V Owens in a title v title match.

But out of Reigns/Taker and Goldberg/Lesnar then yes it should be Reigns/Taker as there's a real risk that the crowd could gooseberry fool all over the Goldberg/Lesnar match especially if it's either a really quick match or they try to make it all about power moves.

It could work if he's meant to be booed this time :shifty:

How come the HOF is on tonight and not tomorrow?! Was it the same last year? Could have sworn it was NXT Friday, HOF Saturday and 'Mania Sunday! Suits me, not too pushed about this takeover so I won't be up until Stupid O' Clock 3 nights in a row.

It's probably for the best it's at the end because anything following that would kill the crowd dead

Still, if they go full heel, it'll be a great response.
