I feel really short changed by my trip to WM29 now. We didn't get any decent intro with America The Beautiful, and it didn't have any of the Mania moments that WM30 and 31 have had. Odd really as the backdrop for it was incredible being so close to NY.

The set was great, and I saw the last win of the streak, but it was like for the actual show WWE just ran out of ideas.

Oppositely, I still really enjoyed it. No Wrestlemania moments per se, but still a good show, last win of the streak and CM Punk/The Rock wrestling, which was nice even if Rocky was gassing after five minutes.

Those chants aimed at the Divas last night were a little too much.

Not as likely with a Post-Mania Raw crowd. For Mania to have a positive effect on his face run it needs to be followed up properly with more great singles matches, which is why I was hoping he'd be off feuding with Sheamus while Orton takes on Rollins at Extreme Rules. Sheamus appears to be in the IC title mix now though

The IC title picture could end up being as strong as it was 2000-2003 if they keep some of the bigger names down there for a while, and allow some newer superstars time to get the rub off them while bringing through the likes of Finn Balor and Adrian Neville..

Is it true they were chanting "you suck Cena/Bryan/etc"? I know this post WM crowd wants to remembered and talked about but at the same time i thought so called hardcore fans like that wanted women's wrestling to be taken more seriously.

It's pretty out of line when you look at it in the light of day, really.

Yep, it's true and it wasn't on. There were hugely pro chants either side of it and people loved the match, but that left a (pun not intended) bad taste in the mouth. I think it just started as a rib at Nikki (a rib to far, even then) but it just rolled over to the others. Totally wasn't called for.

The CM Punk chant that got booed and drowned out by the AJ Lee chant was great though. And they got a great ovation at the end as well - rightly so, as they did good.

The worst thing they chanted was "we are awesome" :fp:

What did they chant at Divas? Didn't hear it.

This does my nut in, booing and chanting against people to be edgy then most of them cheers when they win.

Watched Mania again, that main event was even better second time around. Brock and Roman must have said to each other to work stiff as it all looked properly sore.

WWE SmackDown Tapings

Tom Phillips, Jerry Lawler, and Byron Saxton came out for commentary.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins came out to open the show. He was joined by Big Show, Kane, Jamie Noble, and Joey Mercury. Randy Orton came out to interrupt Rollins. Orton said he is still owed his title match. He talked crap about The Authority, and Kane made a match – Orton vs Big Show to start immediately.

Match 1: Randy Orton beat Big Show by DQ. Kane, Noble, and Mercury attacked Orton as he was going to hit the RKO. Rollins entered the ring and Orton got some offence on him until Kane pulled him off and gave him the chokeslam. Ryback came out for the save and Rollins ran off. Ryback dropped Kane, Noble, and Mercury.

Match 2: Naomi beat Natalya. The Bellas sat in on commentary. Naomi won with an on the ground head-scissors DDT.

There was a backstage segment in which Kane told Rollins that a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Rollins and Orton sounds good for Extreme Rules. Dean Ambrose exited Kane’s personal bathroom. Kane told Ambrose he would face Luke Harper…

A Roman Reigns interview was shown on the big screen. Reigns spoke about WrestleMania, and said that he beat Seth Rollins before and will beat him again…

Match 3: The Miz defeated R-Truth. There was a "Mizdow" chant right out of the gate. Miz won by pin. Mizdow ran out and hit Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale and put on his glasses.

John Cena came out to a huge pop. Cena announced that he will have an open challenge for the U.S. Championship every week. Rusev came out and said he didn’t lose at WrestleMania, and will crush Cena at Extreme Rules. Cena put him in his place and said Rusev did lose and will fight him now. Rusev responded by saying, “Only thing you are gonna see is this.” Nothing happened. Cena said, “You mean this?” The U.S. flag dropped instead of the Russian flag. Cena got a huge pop. No Cena sucks chants.

The announced that they will be returning to Fresno on Sunday, August 2.

The Prime Time Players cut a promo on New Day that was shown on the big screen.

Match 4: Dean Ambrose beat Luke Harper by an apparent Disqualification, though no winner was announced. Harper pulled the top off the announce table then a couple minutes later powerbombed Ambrose right through it.

Sheamus came out to a big pop that quickly turned to boos. The crowd chanted “you look stupid” and he embraced it. Daniel Bryan made his entrance to the biggest pop of the night. Bad News Barrett sat in on commentary. This was a change from the match they announced on RAW.

Main Event: Sheamus beat Daniel Bryan via Count Out. As Bryan was knocked to ringside, Barrett hit Bryan with a Bull Hammer while the referee wasn’t looking, and Bryan was counted out. Bryan appeared to be cut just prior to the Bull Hammer. Barrett walked out to loud boos. Bryan walked to the top of the ramp and got a huge pop. He started a Yes! chant and then walked backstage.

I said this at the time - Brock was hardway within thirty seconds and his eye was all puffy from one of Reigns' first punches. It really helped the storytelling because by the end of it they both looked strawberry floated.

I just watched the main event again as well and it probably was my favorite match of the PPV. It wasn't a 'proper' wrestling match by any means but as a brawl it was awesome. Hard stiff punches and knees, Reigns took a hell of a beating in that match. Icing on the cake was the Rollins cash in. Even before Rollins came it definitely wasn't the train wreck a lot thought it might have been. It definitely helped that the crowd were into it - wise move announcing Lesnar's re-signed just before the PPV.

You could sense the fear and dread once Lesnar got bust open as fans thought their nightmare was going to come true and Reigns was going to win. Especially after he hit that second spear

Not going to lie I was one of the few who was getting excited when Roman done the second spear

Love Rollins anyway, such a good heel and athlete. Rollins vs Orton should be brutal, maybe be a TLC/Tables match for them to use RKO and curb stomp.

Would also love to see Last Man Standing for Cena fight as others have suggested. Cenas had some amazing LMS matches, most recently against Wyatt.
