I really hope this is a bullshit work by WWE and Bryan isn't retiring.

The idea of being seasons would make it better but they never will.

Seasons aren't going to happen, but mandatory time off a few times a year would work. Cycle the wrestlers in and out.

They really need to just reboot the entire thing somehow

They had a chance to do something with SmackDown when it moved to USA and they did absolutely strawberry float all.

They deserve to be in the position they're in because they've just flat out refused to change anything.

Triple H clearly doesn't have that much influence on the main shows as for him to publicly say RAW isn't working and then for basically nothing to change is remarkable.

To be fair Triple H has put himself in a main event that nobody really wants to see. Vince makes the key decisions. But Stephanie and Triple H should also get the blame too. Their characters on TV are one of the reasons it is so boring.

Bryan will probably be able to get any job he wants in WWE, if he wants it. NXT trainer seems most likely, experienced trainer already.

Wouldn't mind him replacing Saxton on the announce team.

I genuinely don't understand how the most bland announcer does Raw, Smackdown and PPV's.

It's a shame about Bryan having to retire though, so many matches i wish i could see him have - him vs Lesnar was a match i really wish we could have got at some point. But at least he's able to walk away in good shape (can still walk and work out) and okay-ish health. I know there's a lot of conspiracy theorists out there thinking Vince refused to clear him for spiteful reasons whereas he's been cleared by other doctors. If he does go to another company in X amount of years time then i hope they're right and he is fit to wrestle. Would hate to see him suffer one injury too many. I think i saw one comment somewhere imply that Meltzer hinted at something to do with brain damage, no idea if that's true or not. No doubt we'll find out the full story in a couple hours or so.

He had a heck of a career though. Even in WWE he won the IC title, US title, Tag Title, WHC, WWE title, headlined Wrestlemania and won the gold there, countless wrestler of the year awards (and i'm sure match of the year awards as well) on top of the stuff he did in the Indies, as sad as he is his career is ending i'm sure he'll be pretty damn happy with what he achieved.

I hope if this is an actual retirement they just let him come out and give a speech with no bullshit 'story' stuff. No HHH and Stephanie coming out and doing the B+ thing and HHH being an A player headlining WM, then Reigns coming out to save the day in the hope he'll get more over just standing next to Bryan.

Can't get the video to load now

Right at the end of the post-speech video as DB leaves the stage you can see Vince clashing with someone
