On TV they recently put him into a storyline with Stardust (that went absolutely nowhere), and then just in random matches.

Yeah he does turn up in a lot of their footage when they go to schools, events etc.

I wonder if something happened afterwards backstage. Maybe he was just going to be told off but Titus's reaction or something then pushed it into suspension territory. The most likely reason for the suspension though is that Vince is just overreacting massively.

Apparently this was Daniel Bryan's last televised match.

It looks like he was having a seizure at the end of the match. In hindsight this is a lot more worse now that we know about his head injuries.

EDIT: Apparently Bryan was selling at the end of the match and did not have a seizure.

Worth it for the back issues of the Observer if anyone's never subscribed previously IMO. Some of the obituaries and information about older wrestlers makes fascinating reading.

Yup apparently same neck break that paralysed Christopher Reeve and some 90% odd of people Hope he can come back, finally getting a good run with Cesaro too.

I've started watching Lucha Underground. Watched the first two episodes of the first season and have to say I'm loving it. The set up and setting are class and the matches have all been good too

It's a shame reading that Owens pushed for a Taker feud heading into Wrestlemania but was denied. It could have been something quite interesting. They really don't seem to know what to do with Taker. I wonder if any of these rumoured big names that are apparently returning will end up in that spot. One of the names in particular could work quite well given the history involved. Kurt Angle. He previously tapped Taker out, as I recall, and surely it could lead into the build between the inevitable clash with Lesnar. If he does end up returning, as he's openly suggested he wants to.

There's no way in a million years Kurt Angle is coming back in a wrestling capacity. If Daniel Bryan couldn't get cleared to wrestle he's got no chance.
