I think it's brilliant. Great for 90's fans and introduces Goldberg as a monster to all new audiences. The way he shoved Lesnar away was spectacular along with his facials.
Now Lesnar is hurting, and will probably come back with a vengeance. Goldberg meanwhile continues to show up on occasion and destroy everyone in his path, leading to a final match WM where it's beast vs beast and a more competitive outcome. A whole new generation of Goldberg fans, meaning a boost to game sales, figures, HOF?and old WCW content.
Brock hasn't been doing anything interesting for a while and this just pushed him back into the game. He's a special attraction/sideshow, he isn't in the company real life and kayfabe for titles just money. He's not going to be facing Rollins/Styles/Owens every week.
Yeah I loved it. Don't get the fuss over Lesnar being beaten when he's had more ridiculous defeats like his first match back after Cena and the Triple H one. I'd be happy with that being it for Goldberg's run since he's already beaten Lesnar twice but I'm interested in seeing what they do with him at the Rumble.
Thought that was a pretty good PPV overall. Main negatives were the shite finishes to the IC and Cruiserweight title matches, and Owens and Jericho's eliminations because god forbid they make Canadians look strong in Canada. Hope Shane never steps foot in the ring again after that either.
It's not intended to be like this I'm sure, but as a piece of narrative storytelling it's great. For over 15 years they've gooseberry fool on WCW. For 15 years they've stuck two fingers up to the fans. And then along comes Goldberg and plows through their top guy, the man who ended Undertaker's winning streak, in a minute 25 like he's now the biggest jobber on the face of the planet, and causes their PPV to end 35 minutes early in the process. Glorious.
Well I thought it was a great PPV, especially the last 2 matches. It'd be great if that was Goldbergs send off, he's a guarantee for the HOF next year, but if he stuck around for a while that'd be great too. I could see a screwy finish coming in the cruiserweight match, but I figured it'd end up with Kendrick getting DQ'd so Kalisto would win and Smackdown getting the cruisers with Kandrick as champ, but this was kind of odd. Even though I hate the Uso's, I was glad to see the New day get eliminated first from Raw, I hope Sheamus and Cesaro beat them tonight. Now strawberry float TLC and Roadblock, the countdown to the Rumble is on

Remember this when Brock murders him and ends his career.
Loved the Smackdown chants when Roman was the last man standing for Team Raw. The guy just can't catch a break, I'll fully agree that he has improved a trememdnous amount since the early days of his mega push, but it still feels stilted and forced as to why he's still hovering around the main event. Why does he get a prime place in the Team Raw match and not defend his title? Miz had to defend the Intercontinetal, Kendrick had to defend the Cruiserweight, they're both belts approximate to the US Title so why does Reigns not have to defend?
I also find it pretty funny how quickly the crowd turn on something cool involving Roman when the spotlight shifts back to Roman himself. The Shield spot in the Survivor Series match was nice, but I couldn't help but feel it was stupid. Or more importantly (depending on how Smackdown goes on Tuesday) it makes Shane look stupid. Ambrose and Corbin need to have genuine repercussions for their actions, other wise it makes the authority figure look weak and the faces look stupid for adhering to rules for which there is no punishment for breaking. The immediate thing I said to my mate as Ambrose came back out to attack AJ was "Why would Ambrose still get a title shot after this?". He almost costs Shane's side the match, but is still in the main event of their next PPV?
Brock/Goldberg I'm undecided on. It all depends on what they do with it going forward. I won't deny that it certainly got a reaction from me, but a lot like Brock beating Undertaker's streak, what they do with it going forward is going to define that moment for years to come.
I put on Asuka/Mickie James afterwards, as I wanted the night to end on a proper match, and that one didn't disappoint.
They could have had a so so 15 minute match that wouldn't have been anything special. But this will be talked about and remembered for years. Plus it sets up some interesting stories.

And I'd argue that's the problem. When was the last time WWE genuinely capitalised on a good thing? The last ten years (well, since the Invasion actually) it's been a continuous succession of hot angles that fizzle out due to mismanagement.
Absolutely loved that Goldberg/Brock match. Fantastic booking from start to finish for the entire fued and matches can go long or short and still be a classic, and that one will be long remembered.
Not sure if they need to do anything from here. That was the perfect end to Goldbergs career but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see him win the Rumble, rematch with Brock at Mania and retire as champion. Whatever happens, have Goldberg stay as the one guy that Lesnar couldn't beat.
Just finished survivor series. Really enjoyed it. Cruiser weight was gooseberry fool though.
I can't make my mind up about the Goldberg and Lesnar thing. I found it very odd. I believe Goldberg will be back. He's done. Where do they go with Lesnar from here though? Every time he loses, it takes he edge off him a bit for me. I assume he will just bounce back and smash people up again but you can't wipe the memory of that beating away.

Obvious what will happen, Lesnar interferes and eliminates him right towards the end. They end up being separated by everyone and you've got the Wrestlemania rematch, despite Brock being 0-2 against him.
