I really want it to succeed but I can't see either being any more than the kind of garbage you get at Butlins (not the WWE shows but their own shite they have on camp).

I think it will be really poor. They should just have broadcast WCPW or something, i'm expecting that to have much better production values than WOS will.

On the talk that big show v Shaq is locked in for wrestlemania. I get the feeling that is the motivation behind shows recent weight loss. He's looking the best I've seen him in a long time.

It's been filmed with similar principles to WCW Saturday Night, in a TV studio. Production values will be line with that of a TNA iMPACT! This won't be like the World of Sport they filmed but never aired a few years ago from Fairfield Halls in Croydon.

The ring is proper sized too.

Production values are on point. Definitely a family show. I like jr but does he fit for a British wrestling show?

Show was great according to people who were there at the taping and the production values are clearly higher than any other taped UK promotion.

I hope it takes off tbh. WWF failed on channel 4 because it was too adult but this could work.

This booking though lol. Two title matches, the second being a battle royale and now a ladder match to get entry to the battle royale? Wat

Although I was watching the oa earlier this still makes more sense than that.

Was reading in the Observer the other week that WWE are legitimately worried about it if it takes off and gets a decent time slot due to the potential audience being huge compared to what they get on Sky.

Kevin Owens has zero muscle also and is brilliant. Shes a great wrestler, but yes is fat, meh.

Booking is randok but supposed to be a one off so prob just cramming lots of gimmick stuff in.

The crowd reactions feel overly produced (more so than even when WCW taped at Disney) and there's an 80s cheese-factor to the whole thing, but having such a hot crowd is helping immensely, as is Jim Ross.

Ring ropes are as loose as they were in the WWF pre 1998 too.

You didnt mention her wrestling ability only that she is fat.

The crowd annoyed me at start as its exsctly like Ninja Warrior, but helps alot as KK said. Every match has felt important. Pretty impressed!

I don't think the overly produced crowd reactions are a bad thing it as it gives it more of a British feel (a bit like Robot Wars) as you can hear it's a British crowd. Otherwise very slick and JR fronting the show helps no end. JR can make anything world class, I don't think there is a better commentator full stop in any sport.

Backstage stuff is somehow less cheesey than WWE. Awesome to see Davie Boy!
