Wow this has really taken a turn for the worse. Wonder if they're filling time because a certain main event will be another couple of minutes shit-show.

Cruiserweight match easily the best of the night so far. Nice to see the crowd appreciate it too, best reaction I've seen to a CW match on a PPV. Jack is ace.

So much padding. Don't think I'm going to enjoy these guys hosting WM.

So disappointed Strowman lost. Why build him up to lose clean to Reigns? He's improved so much. I guess that DVD cover was a fake, no Taker. Wonder if they've changed their WM plans. Would rather see him put over Balor.

Glad that horrific PPV streak is over. Bland match though. The longer it went on the more it lost the crowd. A bit botchy too, what on earth was Bayley trying to do with Charlotte on the corner ropes?

Doesn't seem like a lot of time for Owens vs. Goldberg, as expected, unless it overruns.

Looking at the clock, though PPVs these days do tend to overrun, this main event is going to be a squash.

Owens has wasted about 4 minutes, once the bell rings it'll definitely be a squash.

Can Goldberg actually wrestle a match? I mean they could have got some offence out of Owens.

Was he supposed to be saying that to Goldberg?

Apparently that WCPW event in Newcastle is going to be broadcast tonight on YouTube for free. It features Cody Rhodes and Drew Galloway, and surely it couldn't be any worse than Fastlane? I'm going to give it a watch anyway.

You of all people should know this shouldn't happen. Goldberg was a product of his time, it was so unique but he had zero offensive and could hardly sell (as was his character).

I will say, atleast WWE have given Goldberg the run he should have had to start with in his initial run. Well, not last night so much.

The Brock match I can see will be over in a flash or major fuckery like the Sting/HHH match of yesteryear.

The two mains for the belt though, christ it looks awful. Brock/Goldberg and Orton/Wyatt, none of these are going to be 5* matches.

Brock/Goldberg should be as simple as a spear and a jackhammer right at the bell again but with Brock kicking out, then Brock countering a spear or jackhammer attempt into 10 Germans then mauling him, two F-5s later and it's done. If it goes longer than five minutes it will be in trouble.

I agree with Skippys idea. And don't put the match on last.

Also don't give owens a rematch against Goldberg before mania, give it to him against lesnar at the ppv after mania. Unless balor is coming back on the raw after mania to have his title shot.

Goldberg has had a number of good matches in his career, admittedly none I can remember in WWE, but in WCW there were a lot. Against DDP at Halloween Havoc being the most obvious.

The best thing that could happen at mania would be a Goldberg/Lesnar/Balor/Owens Fatal 4 Way.

That's a terrible idea though. Lesnar v Goldberg is the money match and it's been really well built too.

I was surprised Owens got protected as he did to the point he can blame his loss on Jericho showing up. Glad but surprised. Looking forward to him and Jericho finishing off their story well with what could be the MOTN.
