Interesting that there wasn't one piece of WCW footage in the entirety of that Heenan memorial package, or 1 photograph used all night.

Blampied has tweeted an image with a large C and a 5 inside it, with the comment 'join us'. So something seems to be planned.

It's not the channel 5 logo but people seem to think that they are doing something with channel 5.

You could argue Blampied was the face of the channel considering the crossover stuff he's done with Wrestling With Wregret. I don't really see how they'll recover from this unless they are ditching wrestling content altogether.

I assume that Tweet is a teaser of whatever Adam and co are doing next most likely a new channel on YouTube, which I'm quite looking forward to.

Yeah. I've started watching Wrestletalk on youtube a lot more now anyway but i was still watching certain whatculture videos. I think the main channel will survive assuming the company survives financially as there is some good talent on there talking about movies, tv shows etc.. It is a shame as Blampied also appeared on some of them.

My assumption would be that they are going to just set up their own channel on youtube. Whether or not they get involved in a wrestling promotion i'm unsure.

http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/culture-wrestling-company-new/#.WcJaf7KGPcv

The recent group of What Culture Wrestling departees seem to have their next business venture planned … because a group of them filed docs to form a new company.

Pro Wrestling Sheet obtained documents filed earlier this month which show the new company is called Cultaholics Ventures Limited and the four primary officers of the company are as follows:

Head of Creative, Adam Blampied
Head of Production, Sam Driver
Managing Director, Adam Pacitti
Editor-in-Chief, Ross Tweddell
It also looks like Cultaholics will still be making the same type of videos. The documents state that the nature of their business is video production and news agency activities.

We reached out to Pacitti for comment, but he said they weren’t doing press for the new project yet. Adam Blampied, however, has already teased things by tweeting their new logo (seen above) and tagging the others who left today.

Taken during the show; another photo is from Shane McMahon's promo.

Even with the dark blue/lights turned off it's been becoming noticeable on TV this past month.

A further problem when you have a half full arena is that they move everyone to camera side to make the arena look full but then they half to do their promos to the empty part of the arena so that they are facing the camera which will even further dampen the crowd reactions.

WWE sent out the following WWE Network survey last night:

1. WWE is considering adding new programming to WWE Network as part of a premium priced tier. Listed below are some potential new programming ideas. Please let us know how interested you are in each of the ideas.

Audio Channel: A section of WWE Network for “listening only” that provides audio play-by-play of pay-per-views, music playlists, “sports radio” style call-in shows and podcasts

Ring of Honor: Historic and new programming from Ring of Honor

Local Tournaments: Tournaments that take place in your home country featuring local talent similar to the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament which took place in England this year

TNA: Historic and new programming from TNA / Impact / Global Force Wrestling

WWE “Director’s Cut”: Shows that put a new twist on classic content such as WWE Legends narrating historic pay-per-views or current WWE Superstars providing their perspective and analysis of classic matches and events

Special Live Events: Special one-time live events from unique locations around the world featuring an unexpected main event

TV-14 In-Ring Show: A “new” weekly version of ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) or other “edgy” new promotion rated TV-14

Original Scripted Comedies: Comedies such as WWE Superstar Roasts, Southpaw Regional Wrestling, or WWE’s version of “The Office”

Original Scripted Dramas: Wrestling-themed series inspired by wrestling’s colorful and rich history such as WWE’s version of Game of Thrones

House Shows: For the first time ever, get a live, ringside view of select WWE house shows

Other Promotions: Historic and new programming from ICW, PROGRESS, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, or other regional Indie promotions

New Reality Shows: Reality shows featuring life on the road for WWE Superstars, an insider’s view of WWE Superstars’ intense training and workout regimens, WWE Superstar “Cribs”, WWE-style “Apprentice” to win a job at WWE, or WWE Legends’ House Season 2 – Attitude Era

2. WWE is considering special features that may be available to WWE Network as part of a premium priced tier. Listed below are some potential new features ideas.

Social Sharing: Ability to share playlists, clips, or favorites on social media (Facebook, YouTube, etc.)

Social Viewing: Set up a “movie theater mode” to watch virtually with friends or participate in a live event on Facebook where you can chat with other fans

Download To Go: Ability to download content and watch “offline”

Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality: The ability to watch current or historic WWE content in a way that makes it seem as if you are actually sitting ringside and experiencing an event, such as WrestleMania, live and in person, using special computer generated effects and equipment like a headset

Personalization: Ability to create custom playlists and change the look and feel of your WWE Network interface with options that represent your favorite WWE Era and Superstars

Alternate Audio: Choose your favorite pay-per-view commentator team - for instance, you can hear “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Jerry Lawler call a live pay-per-view

Alternate Viewing Options: The ability to watch WWE in-ring shows using alternate camera choices (e.g. gorilla cam, drone cam, Go-Pro camera), 360 views or select higher or lower resolution options

Ratings / Comment System: Ability to “rate” shows or matches (e.g. 0 – 5 stars), add comments, or mark “favorite” moments

3. WWE is also considering special benefits and perks that would be offered as part of a WWE Network premium priced tier. Listed below are some potential new ideas for subscriber perks.

Early Access to New Merchandise: Exclusive early access to new WWE merchandise on WWEShop.com, such as T-shirts and hats, before it goes on sale to the public

Free Shipping: Free shipping on WWEshop.com orders

Early Access to Live Event Tickets: Exclusive early access to live event tickets before going on sale to the public

Get Breaking News First: Be the first to receive WWE breaking news, before it’s posted on social media, WWE.com or shared with other outlets

Monthly “inside WWE Headquarters” Conference Call: Ability to listen in to a conference call with WWE executives such as Triple H or Stephanie McMahon

Preferred Pricing: Special offers for WWE VIP events and products including Meet & Greet discount packages and special offers on products from WWE sponsors

Sweepstakes Entries: Automatic sweepstakes entry to win WWE event tickets, VIP meet-ups, merchandise, or unique WWE experiences such as a chance to appear on a Network show

Fan Voting: Special opportunities to vote on match participants, Hall of Fame inductees, Slammys winner, or other WWE events

Loyalty Program: Get rewards such as t-shirts, collectibles and ticket upgrades using loyalty points earned from the length of time you have been a WWE Network premium subscriber or your time spent viewing

- Now please let us know which of these new program ideas are most valuable to you. To do so, please assume you have a total of $10 to spend against these ideas. How would you spend it? For example, if you find one program idea much more valuable to you than any of the others, you can put all $10 towards that one program idea. Or, if you find several different program ideas valuable, you can split up the $10 dollars across those ideas. Just remember, you have $10 in total.

I would like to see a WWE version of The Apprentice, I've got to admit.

WWE’s version of “The Office”

I don't see the point in breaking news first because as soon as you break it to only the subscribers everyone else will find out within minutes anyway.

Think it could be interesting is they made a TV-14 show for the network but the problem is that it won't feature any talent that people are interested in so it will probably bomb.

Is there a way on the network to watch from say 1989 onwards all the content in chronological order?

Unfortunately not. To be able to watch every year in chronological order would be a great addition because currently you need to be already familiar with the running order of programming or go hunting it out. Not very new-fan friendly.

I haven't really bothered with the 80s yet though because its missing Superstars of Wrestling, Wrestling Challenge (which Sky Sports re-aired as WWF Classics in the early 00s) and All American Wrestling. They have got Prime Time Wrestling on the Network though, along with Saturday Night's Main Event and chat show Tuesday Night Titans.

Looking around on YouTube last night it's shocking the amount of B shows WWF and WCW had back in the day! WWF had Heat obviously, Shotgun Saturday night, Metal, Jakked, Superstars, Livewire, Velocity. WCW had Worldwide, Pro, Prime, Main event and Saturday night. So lots of stuff for the network to put up yet, not forgetting Thunder too! If they got the 30 plus( ) combined years of TNA and ROH programming it'd be huge!

I never saw the point of them running both Shotgun and Superstars and then Metal and Jakked as they both featured the same matches, and roughly the same highlights, but with just different commentators and graphics. For a period Shotgun and Superstars used to air back-to-back on Sky1 on Sunday mornings and you were basically watching the exact same show, but I recall it occasionally being in reverse. So you'd watch the main event on Shotgun and then Superstars would start and they'd re-air that same match all over again but with different commentators. I think it was a combination of Gorilla Monsoon, Kevin Kelly, Tom Pritchard and Michael Cole.

Yeah that used to annoy the hell out of me. Especially when SD had started and they would still only air RAW highlights.

Bugger they need to add that feature. Prime Time seems to have a lot of the highlights from Wrestling Challenge etc so I'm hoping I can follow the feuds from that.

Currently watching Fall Brawl 98 for my sins!

My sympathies. Though Scott Steiner vs Rick Steiner is great for the 5 minutes it lasts, and Raven vs Saturn is by far match of the night.

That's about the only positives to say about it.

Yep, it felt like the stip change in wargames ruined that gimmick match, along with the utterly baffling Hulk vs Warrior stuff! Decided to follow it up with St Valentines Day Massacre Austin vs Mcmahon and now onto some classic This Tuesday in Texas to relive my youth!

Edit: and yes Rick vs Scott was ridiculous how they spent 10 minutes faking a Bagwell injury, the pay off being they pushed Rick into a door!

1998 may not be the worst of WCW but the signs were there.

How amazing is Kairi Sane's elbow off the top rope. Macho Man rivalling or what?!? Still haven't worked my way through the whole tournament.

Looking forward to tonight, especially the main event, but apprehensive the Women's division will have returned to the Bayley show now she's back. That new female referee is already far more convincing in the ring than Bayley. Praying Cena beats Reigns, but I certainly don't expect that to be the case. Especially as Cena's apparently due another break.

The pre-show has just started and already I'm double posting. But I'm a little shocked the Women's match is now a fatal five way with Emma involved... Seems a bit of a strange change. Unless Emma gets injured before the match and Asuka replaces her. :shifty: Wishful thinking, I know.

I haven’t been watching much recently but read another comment the other day about it being strange that Emma is in the match, why is that?
