I'm curious what will happen at 'Mania with Owens and Zayn. That Andre The Giant Battle Royal rumour would be a massive waste of their talents. If they fight each other, it'll feel like a retread of Owens feud with Jericho from last year.

A tag match against Shane is interesting, I didn't consider it. But who would team with Shane? I can't think of anyone who would fit, without it feeling forced, with the exception of Jericho... but he's booked with his band, isn't he?

So the Mania card so far seems to be:

Reigns vs Brock
Angle & Rousey vs Triple H & Steph
Cena vs Taker
Styles vs Nakamura
Asuka vs Charlotte
Miz v Rollins v Balor
Roode v Orton vs Mahal
New Day vs Bludgeon Brothers vs Usos
Zayn & Owens vs Shane & someone (Ziggler?)

Is the Cruiserweight title final meant to be on the show too?

That opening segment was just laughable. The whole Lesnar heel thing is sooo forced. It’s only idiots and children who don’t know it’s real who will be fooled into booing Lesnar at mania and cheering for Reigns. Obviously there are plenty of fans who like reigns and that’s fine, I’m not talking about them. I’m talking about anyone who will change their minds on supporting Reigns based on this pathetic attempt by Vince to get him over.

I did like seeing the other side of the curtain though. I always love seeing a little bit of reality, even if it was overly staged. Way too many people present compared to when you see it on documentaries. Shane being there was interesting though.

I'm really not sure what more they can do with Lesnar at this point. His whole character has been taken as far as it can and I won't be arsed if Mania is his last appearance. Would have loved to see him feud with Styles or Nakamura but thats obviously not going to happen.

Wow just read some of the stuff about Moolah.

https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/ ... us_moolah/

Cannot believe WWE are naming a battle royal after reading that.

Yeah I read a long piece on her today. banana split is pretty much the only word to describe her. Seems to be a big negative reaction to the battle royal being named after her, hopefully they’ll bow to the pressure and name it after sensational Sherri or somebody else. The “Warrior award” crap is bad enough. What next? A be a star award named after JBL?!

So today was finally the day I had to break my 8 year olds heart and tell him that Santa WWE is not real. He randomly looked at me and said do the wrestlers know before they go to the ring who is going to win. I asked him what he meant and he said do they get told who is going to win and what to say. I could have lied and let him carry in with his childhood innocence but I looked him in the eye and explained that it was just like any tv show or film. They plan it all out but it doesn’t make a difference to us watching as we don’t know what’s going to happen or who is going to win so it is the same as if it was real. I felt that he grew up during our conversation. He’s not that little boy anymore, might stop short of sharing a beer with him whilst watching wresltemania though. However he promptly went back to delivering repeated F5’s to a giant soft toy dog on our sofa bed in the living room and he uses as a wrestling ring.

I told my wife the story, and explained that she would have to break his heart about Father Christmas when he asks, she looked at me like I was an idiot

Shane's punches in that Zayn and Owens section on Smackdown  :fp: Looks like he properly smacked his head on the canvas during that pop-up power bomb too :fp:

The Moolah Battle Royal has been renamed Women’s Battle Royal after Mars got in touch with them and basically asked what the strawberry float they were playing at. This kind of sets a precedent now because you could also go after the Warrior award...amongst many other things.

Snickers have long been a sponsor of wrestling though dating back to WCW PPVs, so they do know what it’s about.

Incredible really that of all the things for them to kick off about, it's a battle royal named after Moolah. Is there nothing else in the history of WWE, which was devised and endorsed by the current management, that might lead them to question their involvement?

He is that. Comes across as a bit weird but he keeps posting Instagram pics of Mandy Rose saying "his little peach" "#DozFutureWife" etc :slol: Hes not going out with her or anything, but she usually replies something nice so fair enough if he manages it :slol:

Is he the one that's as wide as he is tall?

Yeah! If not wider than tall. It's certainly close. He reminds me of Rhyno crossed with Popeye.
