I know especially since NFL do it few times a year amd is a massive success, surely want piece of that.

Tickets go quickly enough for Glasgow, could only imagine how quickly Wembly or Millenium stadium would fill.

Stephanie McMahon has told The Sun a PPV of some description is on the cards in the next few years. SummerSlam once again makes most sense to me. You could do the Royal Rumble but London doesn't have a big enough indoor venue and you'd freeze your bollocks off in January. Cardiff would be great but like the NFL they seem to have a bee in their bonnet about holding everything in London.

Of course, Wembley should have been built with a retractable roof, and from a design perspective already looks like it has one.

Given the Champions League Final a few months back and the Joshua fight tomorrow, there could be enough prime events taking place in Cardiff to make them consider it. However, solid point regarding London; it's stereotypical as all hell but I just can't imagine a US audience even considering somewhere other than London, and WWE will want to look as bigtime as possible.

Interesting considering he's a main shareholder in the company. Will he just remain in charge of creative and not appear on screen I wonder.

Edit. Scrap that I've just read they've terminated his employment. Is it all for show though. Be interesting to see if something gets filed at companies house to amend things.

Considering this is wrestling we are talking about I'm half expecting it to be a work.

It does read that way, he's been future endeavoured and will seek 'professional help'. A Wrestlemania return perhaps.

Interesting. He seems to be preparing early for a return this year? That or he’s just making sure he keeps the ring rust off.

I think it’s more the fact that they’re really stuck for big names at the moment.

The most watched sporting event of the year is chump change compared to Wrestlemania.

In terms of staging I'd imagine. Everything that comes with the event. It takes over a whole city, there's an NXT show before it, Raw and Smackdown after, a whole week of Axxess stuff, plus Wrestlemania itself is six hours now. A Champion's League final is watched by more people and makes more money (I'd assume) but from the pre-amble to the trophy presentation the thing itself is like three hours.

Indeed, wrestlemania is definitely worth more money to a city than the champions league final.

I'm like 99.432% certain Corazons comment was tongue in cheek.

His voice isn't what it was (though it's usually fine on his podcast; maybe he had a cold here or something) it'd be great if they decided to air Starrcade on the Network and had Tony Schiavone and somebody else (Jim Ross, Mike Tenay, Scott Hudson, Eric Bischoff?!) on commentary.

Seems a waste to use the name on nothing more than a House Show.

Get the impression he was really happy to do this. According to Bruce Britchard Vince found Schiavone "too Southern" so never rehired him in 2001, which is just ridiculous.

Really makes you wonder why they bothered putting her in two competitive matches with Asuka rather than a squash.
