For a period Shotgun and Superstars used to air back-to-back on Sky1 on Sunday mornings and you were basically watching the exact same show, but I recall it occasionally being in reverse. So you'd watch the main event on Shotgun and then Superstars would start and they'd re-air that same match all over again but with different commentators. I think it was a combination of Gorilla Monsoon, Kevin Kelly, Tom Pritchard and Michael Cole.

Yeah that used to annoy the hell out of me. Especially when SD had started and they would still only air RAW highlights.

KK wrote:Unfortunately not. To be able to watch every year in chronological order would be a great addition because currently you need to be already familiar with the running order of programming or go hunting it out. Not very new-fan friendly.

I haven't really bothered with the 80s yet though because its missing Superstars of Wrestling, Wrestling Challenge (which Sky Sports re-aired as WWF Classics in the early 00s) and All American Wrestling. They have got Prime Time Wrestling on the Network though, along with Saturday Night's Main Event and chat show Tuesday Night Titans.

Bugger they need to add that feature. Prime Time seems to have a lot of the highlights from Wrestling Challenge etc so I'm hoping I can follow the feuds from that.

Currently watching Fall Brawl 98 for my sins!

My sympathies. Though Scott Steiner vs Rick Steiner is great for the 5 minutes it lasts, and Raven vs Saturn is by far match of the night.

That's about the only positives to say about it.

Yep, it felt like the stip change in wargames ruined that gimmick match, along with the utterly baffling Hulk vs Warrior stuff! Decided to follow it up with St Valentines Day Massacre Austin vs Mcmahon and now onto some classic This Tuesday in Texas to relive my youth!

Edit: and yes Rick vs Scott was ridiculous how they spent 10 minutes faking a Bagwell injury, the pay off being they pushed Rick into a door!

1998 may not be the worst of WCW but the signs were there.

How amazing is Kairi Sane's elbow off the top rope. Macho Man rivalling or what?!? Still haven't worked my way through the whole tournament.

Looking forward to tonight, especially the main event, but apprehensive the Women's division will have returned to the Bayley show now she's back. That new female referee is already far more convincing in the ring than Bayley. Praying Cena beats Reigns, but I certainly don't expect that to be the case. Especially as Cena's apparently due another break.

The pre-show has just started and already I'm double posting. But I'm a little shocked the Women's match is now a fatal five way with Emma involved... Seems a bit of a strange change. Unless Emma gets injured before the match and Asuka replaces her. :shifty: Wishful thinking, I know.

I haven’t been watching much recently but read another comment the other day about it being strange that Emma is in the match, why is that?

She's been on a losing streak, one of the other Women in the match had to win a match to get added to the No Mercy match (I want to say Nia, but the booking has been so forgettable recently). It's not just Emma that was added for seemingly no reason, but Bayley too, however I at least recall Bayley being mentioned on Raw as being added to the match. I have no recollection of that for Emma(?).

Edit: Looking into it Emma was seemingly added alongside Nia when they both won a tag match. I wonder if I just wasn't paying attention or missed that completely. How have I not noticed her on the graphics prior to Bayley being added too? Really random...

Always feel sorry for Jason Jordan, he's so good in the ring, to be stuck with that reaction from the crowd because of the storyline must suck. Especially as he's supposed to be the face. Angle seems relatively unscathed.

Wow, Cesaro appears to have lost multiple teeth.

Stream is a joke tonight. No idea how Cesaro's mouth is such a mess because of it...

Looking at that replay Cesaro strawberry floated himself. Literally broke his front teeth launching himself into the edge of the LED ring post.

His teeth look a mess. Not sure if he did actually lose any or if it just looked that way because they were covered in blood.

Match of the night so far.

Is it wrong to hope Bayley loses some teeth? It might make her seem a bit edgier. I'm going to hell aren't I?

Why did they just mention Nia's weight and none of the others? Ugh WWE.

MUCH better than I expected. Surprising finish, almost felt a little flat compared to what preceded it though.

The one time the WWE fans actually want Cena to bury someone.

A lot of complaints about the stream falling apart tonight. I'm guessing there are more people watching this PPV and they've underestimated server load again.
