Shame we're not getting Slammiversary for free anymore, appears to have had some great matches.

I noticed Slammiversary was airing on a channel called "Showtime" and "Showtime +1" on satellite last night, but I didn't pay too much attention. There was some Canadian promotion on there as well.

Was it definitely not a repeat of an older one? There's a channel called 'Showcase' (192 on Sky) that shows something from that Fight Network every night. Not always Wrestling, sometimes MMA, or Kick Boxing. I pegged it all as repeats though.

It was announced last week that the fight network would air on showtime in the evenings. They are simulcasting TNA.

 I had no idea... I wonder if there's a way to catch up. Seemingly this news managed to miss all the wrestling related news sites I visit (which admittedly isn't a lot).

Indeed it is Showcase, my mistake. I don't know if it was new or not. I didn't recognise who was wrestling but the ropes were yellow and it was being shot from a unique angle. I only watched about 10 minutes as I had to get to bed.

Looking at the TV schedules,

St Louis Wrestling is on at 9pm on Thursday, followed by TNA Explosion at 11pm, Greatest Matches at 12am and finally the 1am show is entitled "Impact in 60 - Highlighting early career matches from AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, Low Ki and Christopher Daniels". Friday at 9pm is Impact in 120, followed by Impact in 60.

I have no idea if the TV guide is correct though. The Digital Spy article makes out it's the Live stream of IMPACT from the USA/Canada. But that would surely go against 5Spike which airs IMPACT in the UK at 11pm every Friday.

And if that wasn’t enough, they’ve made Ziggler vs Rollins again too.

At least this Women’s-only PPV could be interesting. I remember TNA doing a taped one a number of years ago.

How anybody chooses to watch WWE over NJPW when it's so easily accessible, cheaper, and now has English commentary is strawberry floating beyond me.

Wrestling at the Chase could be a real interesting one.

More wrestling on free TV always a good thing though.

Quoted for truth. Outside of NXT I have no idea where the enjoyment for WWE is anymore.

Saying that Joe/AJ for Summerlsam :datass:

I guess that might spell the end of Impact on Spike when the contract runs out - they didn’t seem that keen o fretaining it this year.

I see no problem with watching both NJPW and WWE. I rarely ever watch a full show anymore, hi lights on YouTube do me fine to keep up with things. One is obviously better than the other but there’s no reason to completely boycott one promotion just because another is better.

WOS Wrestling about to start on ITV. Noticed advertising for it during the racing today, and it's also replaying again tomorrow morning on ITV at around 11am, so clearly ITV has some faith in it.

As a first impression I thought the opening 10 minutes were pretty terrible, but once that was out of the way it was decent. Wish ITV wouldn’t keep falling into that trap of overproducing everything in places though. It seemed to lessen as the show went on.

The NXT and WWE influences are all over the look of the set, right down to the LED boards on the ring apron and ramp.

Socal Val sounds absolutely fine on commentary. Makes me think TNA may have missed a trick there. She doesn’t say much but she’s better than Lita on the Mae Young Classic.

Glad they made the decision to get the BELT off Grado as soon as possible as well.
