Great visual though that will only increase her popularity with fans even more. Not often you have that much blood on WWE anymore, let alone RAW and from a woman.
Not being able to compete adds to the Steve Austin similarities in 1997 as well.
Well I certainly chose the right night to watch Live. Daniel Bryan’s just won the WWE title and turned heel, the WWE also changing one of the main events of Survivor Series to Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar.
Charlotte also the replacement for Becky Lynch against Ronda Rousey.
I was more interested in Styles vs Brock given last years match was so good. I think Bryan had a more compelling story to tell with a long climb back to the top at Mania.
But no, they hot shotted it and now have another wrestler as a heel that the fans will just cheer anyway!
I have so little hype for SS now. Reeks of 'here's what you could have won'. They did the bait and switch last year, and they've done it now twice on the same show, granted one was unavoidable, but it's so disappointing. There's no build up now leading into the events for those matches either. I'm not a fan of Charlotte at all, but her and Rousey was one of the matches in contention for a 'Mania main event. Didn't they move her to SD to keep them apart? It certainly felt that way. And Bryan... I'm so mixed, I feel he just hasn't delivered since his return. He's had a few good matches, but it's not been that lightening unleashed from the bottle we all hoped for. After all the build up to the Miz feud, it just faltered. It was so much more exciting a feud when one of them couldn't wrestle (being harsh, when both of them couldn't). I'm not that excited for Bryan and Lesnar, and I wonder if the switch is more a case of Lesnar wanting to squash whoever he's facing and WWE not wanting to see Styles squashed, because otherwise that year-long reign has had a disappointing climax.
I'm also wondering if this Lesnar/Bryan match is going to be a complete squash job, especially as the title isn't on the line either. AJ Styles isn't even on the show now so maybe he'll interfere.
Looks like the main events for TLC will be Bryan vs. AJ Styles, Baron Corbin vs Braun Strowman, and if they rush it, Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey. The Universal title probably won't even be defended.

My assumption is AJ interferes.
I'm a bit annoyed by this match. Bryan Vs Lesnar could have been a mania match after Bryan wins the royal rumble. It only would have meant something if Bryan hadn't managed to win a world title since his return though.
Whole thing sounds like a classic sabotage to me. Isn’t Bryan still one of the biggest fan favourites? Are they turning him heel with the goal of hurting him in the long run as a reaction to him refusing to do crown jewel? Because it sounds like something they’d do.
Just the 4 matches announced for War Games tonight, so looks like everything is getting a long time. Unless there’s the patented WCW Bonus Match added.

That tends to be the way with the NXT ppvs, 4 or 5 matches with a 2 1/2 or 3 hour running time - definite quality over quantity. Any extra matches are normally shown as part of the weekly episodes.
Saying that, this is the first one that I'm not fully convinced will deliver, possibly down to the Gargano and Ciampa focus again (albeit over separate matches). Will happily be proven wrong though, they've been consistent high points in the WWE calendar.
Nice to have Mauro back. NXT hasn't been the same since his absence.
Which is the new rule? Is it the one if someone exits the cage it forfeits the match for their team? I don't really like that, surely their team being one down is forfeit enough.
Well that was a little bit amazing, eh? Surprised they kept up the pace for the duration, near enough, breathless. It seemed like it had to end that way really, he's due a rematch for his title. Good luck topping this Survivor Series. They really need to start having these TakeOvers after the main brand PPVs.
Anyone see the photo JR posted to Twitter of his face after a fall? Everyone in the comments is blaming Nia Jax.
Well that was ace! I couldn't see it going any other way, after Black's win (his feud with Dream ended perfectly, no need to revisit it), and there's still unfinished business with Ciampa. Such a good match though.
Curious scheduling of that AJ Styles 365. Immediately following Survivor Series, which he seemingly doesn't even have a match for.
Loads seem hyped for Rollins vs Nakamura. Seems inevitable it'll be ruined by Ambrose though. If it was on a TakeOver I bet it'd be gold, but the main roster PPVs seem to stick to the WWE style to the detriment of many of their indie darling signings. Survivor Series was ace last year, but I'm really struggling to be excited this year.
