Even in the slow motion replay it looked like he broke his neck. Perfectly delivered. Easily my favourite match.

The Women's match was a close second for me. Possibly the best Women's match I've seen this year. Brilliant finish. I say this as a HUGE Asuka fan, but I think that might be the best Women's TakeOver match since Banks was in NXT. I've never been a fan of Baszler, but she's a great heel.

I'm probably on my own in regards to Ciampa / Gargano, I felt a little desensitised to the finish. It didn't have any of the impact of the prior matches finishes for me. It felt like they were going through the motions. Parts even felt a little stupid (trying to handcuff your opponent to the rope in a Last Man Standing Match? I get that it was a nod to a prior match, but surely that would just hold them up?). Not in any way suggesting it was bad, or that I didn't enjoy it, but it felt the weakest out of the four NXT matches they've had.

Yeah, I thought the ending to the main event came off a little flat as well. I’m not sure if the tables were supposed to break or something to make it look a bit more dramatic.

Crowd chanting “Rusev Day” already. No way that’s the last we’ve heard of that tonight.

What an outstanding video package hyping Brian and Miz.

Playing trailers during a match on a 2 Hour pre-show feels rather disrespectful to those in the ring. People used to criticise the WCW commentators for always talking about the nWo during undercard matches.

Yeah I agree with this and also fail to see what wwe are gaining from running these trailers. I can’t imagine many people are watching it who haven’t either got access to the network or haven’t ordered the ppv.

I do find the preshows a bit odd. I quite like watching them but they seem like they would have been better suited to the ppv era before the network to drum up last minute buys.

Much better than their Iron Man match. Can't say I'm invested in any of them to be honest though.

I’ve seen Seth and Ziggler so many times it’s hard to have much enthusiasm for it.

Laughed at that Total Divas trailer for E! Someone motorboating Niki’s tits and Rusev and Lana laying on the beach nude.

There goes the hope of Owens saving the main event. :( Braun cashing in is our only hope now.

How petulant is Vince to order the ring announcers to avoid pausing for the crowd to chant “one fall”.

So disappointed, back to the Charlotte show. So pleased at the crowds reaction. Nice to know I'm not the only one bored of it.

Love Becky, hoping she gets more opportunities as a heel. Not that she's a heel when the crowd are cheering the strawberry float out of her.

Becky being the heel in this feud hasn’t got a hope in hell of working with the crowd.

Charlotte appears to be on yet another set of tits. The Katie Price of WWE.

Good to see the wrestling business still learning from Beyond the Mat.

Styles vs Joe was amazing. I was worried to begin with, it felt a little slow, and I thought it wasn't going to come close to their ace matches in TNA, but it just kept escalating. The speed of Joe's Power Slam, the Styles Clash, Joe on the mic 'I'll be your Daddy', Styles losing it, the savage crowd 'Who's your Daddy?' and the TNA chants. It more than delivered. Can't wait to see how it develops. I hope they get a Cell spot at HIAC.

That was quite the anticlimactic main event.

In retrospect it was shrewd, Strowman was there to fluff the crowd into thinking they were getting something better than they were. There's no reason Strowman still couldn't have cashed in, he's gotten up from worse than a few chair shots (he was essentially fresh given the length of his match with KO), and throwing the brief case up the ramp is no excuse. It was calculated in the short term to get a better reaction from the crowd, but in the long term it'll sour people of the product.
