Another WWE botch job. Moving it to after 205 Live killed interest in it. So rather than one flop in 205 Live (which should be taped prior to SD and aired on a Thursday through Sunday) they ended up with 2 lame duck shows. You look at the most-viewed shows on the Network and 205 Live is nowhere to be found.

The worst thing is Talking Smack has been great at showcasing the spontaneity of the wrestlers and been far more free-flowing and unscripted than normal TV.

They did when it was Live but unfortunately viewership dropped off drastically when it moved to after 205 Live. So rather than move 205 Live (which is also dying on its arse) they've scrapped it.

I no longer watch NXT, never really watched 205 live. I enjoy talking smack.

Seriously considering dropping the network, I already only watch Raw and Smackdown via the WWEs own hilights on YouTube. With that and other wrestling related stuff on YouTube like WCPW, wrestling with wregret, OSW review, Being the Elite etc, there's plenty out there to keep a man happy. Most network stuff seems to pop up on YouTube anyway by the looks of it.

I've stopped watching 205 too, and I'm about 6 weeks behind on NXT. WCW and old episodes of WWF keep winning out. And despite having seen a lot of it before, I still get hooked on wanting to find out what happens on the next episode, such was the old way of doing things.

SmackDown this week is the perfect example of absolutely nothing happening. I could have saved myself an hour and a half and I would have missed nothing. Finished it wishing I'd stuck with the highlights.

I'm beginning to think WWE are intentionally strawberry floating with Renee Young. Put her and Dean on different shows, removed from Total Divas, and now cancelled both Talking Smack and Unfiltered.

Why are they cancelling these cheap to produce shows like unfiltered, talking smack, stone cold podcast, legends with JBL etc? Bar NXT and 205 live there's very little new programming each week, one 20 minute episode of Ride along or table for 3 after Raw every now and then isn't enough! They're more interested in funding crap like Holy Foley...god I hope that wasn't renewed.

Seems like they're replacing it with more in-ring action, what with the UK show supposedly coming in a few months and the weekly Mae Young Tournament, culminating with a Live show, which I think runs for around 6-8 weeks.

The only original programming really worth watching is the WWE: 24 series, which pops up once every few months.

Personally I find the archive stuff more alluring than any of their current material. And there's still so much missing, which can be frustrating when you want to watch stuff in order (WCW Saturday Night, Main Event, Thunder, Worldwide, and Pro; WWF Shotgun, Superstars, Heat, Livewire Live...all absent).

There's a Live Kurt Angle interview coming up following RAW. I think that may be a storyline continuation though as his lover will be revealed on RAW.

Incredibly both Daniel Bryan and Renee Young found out Talking Smack had been canecelled when fans on Twitter told them/PWinsider broke the story.

Wow some very outspoken comments there. They clearly are not happy.

Talking smack was a great premise. I think it should have been free on YouTube.

On his podcast Eric Bischoff seems to think he knows what tomorrow's Kurt Angle reveal is going to be...

"Uhh, alright Im sure Im going to be burning a bridge with this one, cause I'm not supposed to know about this. And hopefully, nobody gets into any trouble over this because leaks happen, right? But you remember the storyline with AJ [Styles] and Claire [Lynch]? WWE is ripping that off. Dixie is Claire and Kurt is AJ. Im saying the storyline, that everyone is alluding to, is shockingly familiar to AJ and Claire."

If WWE are going to start referencing TNA then they must have purchased the tape library, surely.

For those that didn't watch it (lucky you) there was a storyline in 2012 where AJ Styles was accused of having an affair with a woman called Claire Lynch (who in reality turned out to be an actress who worked Orlando studio). It was ultimately revealed that Claire had made the whole thing up.

To be honest it's not like anything of real interest is happening in WWE at the moment apart from Joe/Lesnar. At least this gives a central storyline, which has been missing from WWE for a very long time.

Thing is, Dixie was a terrible, terrible actress...like an older, budget Stephanie McMahon.
