Wondered what came of Jarret's new promotion and it's merged with TNA.

There was a brief period of time where I much preferred TNA to WWE, but now I just can't be arsed to even follow wrestling despite WWE having some of my favourites on the roster.

I miss WCW. :(

You had one in Sami Zayn but now he just seems a goof, same as Bayley.

WWE can write good babyfaces, Vince and Co can't.

In the UK, the 19th June edition of RAW pulled in 18,000 viewers, the lowest rating in the history of RAW dating back to its UK inception in 1995, beaten by the 11am showing of Main Event (31,000).

It doesn't help when most of their big babyfaces like Rollins, Reigns and Orton come across as total heels most of the time. They have a really hard time writing babyfaces as anything other than smarmy dicks on the main roster.

Watching Slammiversary and still find it really funny that a roided-up NXT reject is one of TNA's top stars.

EDIT: wtf Josh Matthews wrestles now?

I really do hate the look of the current IMPACT ZONE apart from the interview area backstage. It's so dark, and lacks even the production values of the Fox Sports era.

I presume there's another overhaul coming soon with the show becoming GFW: IMPACT.

If you aren't already I recommend Tony Schiavone's podcast. They're working through various PPVs and note worthy Nitro's. It's great listening to his insight. That all the announcers were just as in the dark as the viewer throughout Bash at the Beach 1996 as to who the 3rd man was for example. Tony then saying he hoped the police beat the strawberry float out of the fan who jumped the barricade too. :slol:

Why is Low Ki's ring gear Agen 47's suit, red tie and gloves from Hitman?

Are they definitely keeping the "Impact" name/brand? I think they should make it a clean break and just start fresh with a new name, Rampage, that'd do. The main reason I'd like to see this happening is that they could sell WWE the old TNA tapes to help fund GFW going forward and the WWE could do so much with all the great footage of Angle, Styles, Joe, Roode, Sting etc. for the network. Pretty sure Vince hates Double J so I doubt he'd want to do business with him.

Oh my God that Scott Steiner/Abyss tag match into a pretape.

You could watch wrestling and suspend your disbelief once...

I wonder how much longer that can go on. WWE badly needs a highlights show on prime time terrestrial in my opinion. Something on the lines of Smack Talk with highlights thrown in, so basically the old WWE Prime Time.

The current product with the ridiculous ad breaks feels massively at odd with UK viewing habits.

Never really been one for podcasts, but that does sound pretty interesting. Just found a list of past editions so I'll definitely check them out this week.

I don't know if it's because I've been watching a lot of Nitro recently and WCW liked setting the pyro off every 5 seconds, but it's really noticeable these days how little of it WWE now has. Since Money in the Bank it's been practically nonexistent. It stands out like a sore thumb with AJ Styles' entrance.

Even the SD set has been used 2 nights running again.

Saw some Smackdown highlights. Jesus strawberry floating Christ what are they doing with Rusev? He has to be one of the biggest wastes of all-round talent on the roster right now. Putting him straight into a feud with Cena that seems to just be a repeat of the same one for the US title a few years ago that totally killed his momentum and that'll probably happen again with this one.

There must be some sort of joke I'm missing at both Lana and Rusev's expense.

WWE removing the Uso's R-Rated joke on their YT videos is also pathetic. No fun allowed.

I'm presuming "Tenay Young" (Tyler Breeze dressed as Renee Young) was a shot or nod to Mike Tenay.

I doubt it, they just took Tyler's first initial and put it instead of the R in Renee. Unless Mike Tenay has a history of cross dressing I don't know about.

Forbes wrote:WWE fans take note: an IT error may have left your personal information open to anyone, including addresses, educational background, earnings and ethnicity.

Earlier this week, Bob Dyachenko, from security firm Kromtech, told Forbes he'd uncovered a huge, unprotected WWE database containing information on more than 3 million users, noting it was open to anyone who knew the web address to search. Looking at samples of the leaked information provided by Dyachenko, all data was stored in plain text.

Guess that's it then. I'm now going to have to move and change my identity.

Hey Vince!

Looking through that list, it's because of download links posted from 2010-2012.
